Titanic is a classic movie based on the historical event of the Titanic ship sinking on April 14, 1912. Titanic, had been branded as the ship of dreams and was also known as being " Unsinkable." James Francis Cameron is a Canadian filmmaker and he was the director of this movie. Many individuals recall and enjoyed the motion picture, "The Titanic." During the epic expedition the unprivileged artist named Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCapro) and a seventeen year old wealthy girl named Rose DeWitt Bukator (Kate Winslet) fall in love, until one horrific night, their enraptured love for one another turned into a desperate struggle for survival on a ship that was about to plummet to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean. Jack quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her back over. When he pulled her over she fell on top of him and shrieked! A few men heard her and ran towards them. When the men got to them they made a quick judgement of what it looked like and yelled at Jack to stand up and to not move. Cal and Ruth found out what had happened and tried to have Jack arrested. Rose quickly stood up for Jack and told them she was leaning over to look at the propellers as she slipped and Jack saved her life. Jack was very fond of Rose since the first time he placed his eyes on her and Rose secretly loves Jack in return. Titanic was a symbol of dreams and the new advancements mankind made in a very short time period. The ship was known to be so strategically constructed so that the ship could sustain any amount of damage and still remain afloat. April 14, 1912 was a very tragic day for many and it proved the " Unsinkable" could sink. Everybody who was on the ship woke up that morning just like any normal day but sadly the passengers did not know what horrific event would take place that night. On that day the " Unsinkable" ship would never see the light of day again. The titanic carried three thousand and three hundred passengers and only seven hundred and six passengers survived.
