Almost one fifth in the Unites States alone. In my opinion, no disability is good. I also hope that one-day science will provide a breakthrough that is able to eliminate all disabilities. Toys for the disabled are good, and have many positive benefits. Therefore, continuing to innovate, and produce them is important. If the tables turned, and you yourself were in their shoes, wouldn’t you want help from your community. Also wouldn’t it make you feel better to know that you had hundreds upon thousands of people who want to help you live your life to the
Up until the mid 1970's it was actually illegal to be disabled in a sort. It was the 'Ugly Law' which many with Cerebral Palsy suffered greatly from. If anyone was reported ugly due to a deformity of any kind, they would be arrested and taken back home. While not many things like that still happen today, there are situations that happen that are still Ableistic in their own ways. Many crimes that happen against disabled people won't get televised or any awareness raised at all. Parents with disabilities are more likely lose custody of their child, a lot of times for no reason besides being disabled. For intellectually challenged parents there's up to an 80% chance of them losing their child. There are businesses that will refuse to let a handicapped worker to any jobs where they might be visible, some refuse designated parking spaces. The disabled are often paid less, in many places they are paid below minimum wage. Which might be overlooked, if the disability benefits had any help to offer. Unfortunately, disability only offers anywhere from $5k-$7k a year, and the recipient and family they are living with cannot earn more than around $20k a year. The average middle class person is expected to make around $30k a year. Not only must the disabled live off such mediocre wages, but the necessities are ridiculously priced. Manual

Toys play quite an important role in children’s lives, along with their socialization. Kids spend a vast amount of time playing with toys, alone and with their peers or parents. In todays age when it comes time to buying gifts for children everything is color coded. There are many boundaries that separate
The types of toys children play with can affect how they develop. Toys can help or hinder a child’s development in intelligence, social skills and personality. Certain characteristics may be genetically entwined in a human being, but some characteristics and behaviors can be learned, from parents, surroundings, and the toys with which a youngster plays. Elise Moore, author of “How Do Toys Aid Development”, stated “if play is the work of the child, toys are the child’s tools” (Moore, 2).
Organizational Hierarchy Structure- Toys R Us was a decentralized organization, which had a leadership type setting from country to country. This type of structure was difficult because all the leaders from different countries were not communicating effectively. The company knew they had to make some changes to the system, if they wanted to be successful. Therefore, after careful consideration, the company decided to move to a more centralized structure. This change was needed to strengthen their business with regards to their compatibility amongst countries and creating a more efficient workplace in the United States and abroad. In the company’s business in Europe, instead of their being different leaders across the continent, there will

It cannot be good for that person suffering from the Disability. Yes they need extra help need a little more attention. What’s running through society head is their helpless. With that kind of stereotype they can’t help but think of suicide. They start to wonder what the point of living is. They need to know their self-worth in this world. People with the disability they don’t want to feel like a burden on their peers. It is important to make the individual with a disability feel as normal as possible even though they are not physical normal and are limited to what they can do we as a society should show them the same respect we want for
Giving disabled individuals everything they want seems to be good when looking at it from an outside point of view. However, after paying attention to the effects on the individual, it does not always have positive outcomes. Special needs individuals should not be given everything, because doing so deprives them of learning valuable life skills.
Did Rey awaken the force of society, media, and toy manufacturers? Social media has taken a stand that there has been a lack of female heros available. For example, “Over the holidays, Twitter exploded with the hashtag “#wheresrey” according to an article named, “Asleep at the switch? Force Awakens” heroine missing from toy line” by the Associated Press, adapted by Newsela staff. Apparently, there has been rumors that Rey was kept from the toy line due to preventing the plot point either in the current movie or possibly the sequel. But who’s to say this is really true? Another heroine previously difficult to find was Jessie the cowgirl from “Toy Story 2.” Is this just a coincidence? I think not. Considering the openness and acceptance of human
Mr. Brandon, CEO of Toys R Us, Inc. stated “There is simply no reason to go somewhere else-our focus is kids and families every day of the year-unlike some of our competitors who only play (pun-intended) a few weeks a year” Toys “R” Us Inc.,2017, Oct 24). Another innovative way the company has gained competitive advantage recently is by introducing Play Labs nationwide. Play Labs are a free reality application which includes AR games and play experiences that children can play on their smartphone or tablet devices while they are in the stores shopping. Toys R Us is now more than just a place to shop, they have created experiences which bring their stores to life with their interactive games that the kids highly enjoy playing (Toys “R” Us Inc, 2017).
More young children prefer the game in Ipad video game and online game rather than traditional toys; therefore Toys R Us is facing on high threat of substitution.
This is not just a disadvantage to disabled people in the United States, it is a problem world wide. In the United Kingdom, only 6 percent of young disabled people are employed (O'mahony). All this leaving the United Kingdom with just “less than one in 20 people with a mental or physical disability are in paid employment”(O’mahony). Disabled people around the world in different nations are taken away the feeling of usefulness and the feeling of accomplishment. Affecting the disabled both financially but also emotionally.
