When it comes to the topic of Donald Trump, most of us will readily agree that he is just a big headed business man looking to be in charge of anything and everything he can. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is on the question of whether or not he is fit to be president. Whereas some are convinced that he is the best chance to make a better country, others maintain that he is simply too scattered in his thoughts and would ultimately be the country 's downfall. The combination of Trump’s arrogance and his business makes him a competitive, but an annoying candidate for a president. While some would say we need a business man to pull the country out of debt, Trump is an arrogant business man with little experience in politics. Not …show more content…
The only reason I agree is because, to me, why should we continue shoveling money out of the pockets of Americans and into the pockets of people that aren’t even from the U.S. Think of it this way, if you were struggling to make ends meet and you only had money for one family would you keep it for your own or would you give it to your neighbors? Personally, I would have to take care of my family first and make sure we are set before I could give money to another family. Although Trump has made a valiant effort in his campaign, many are already counting him out of the running for president. In short, Trump has a long way to go before the country decides, but with all that has been said and discussed about his campaign I doubt his odds will change. Trumps slogan is, “Make America great again.” He has given his ideas on what he wants to do for the country, but they are scattered and not well planned. The only plan I can find in myself to support is his immigration plan. To the right is an image from News Max T.V. by Ed Berliner that shows his plan. Although the plan seems harsh it is what is necessary to help better the standard of living for Americans. Other than his plan for immigration, I support none of his Ideas. He has so many, but none of them are as well thought out, which could end up being Trump’s downfall. As a presidential candidate he has to show he is not only a strong leader, but is an organized one as well. He needs
Donald Trump before he became the 45th president, his famous campaign motto “Make America Great Again” caught the attention of many Americans, but mostly by white Americans. Trump’s tactics made him a very clever man throughout the election, he had many techniques on how to gain the American vote. Throughout his campaign, he was attentive of the men around him. For example, Trump knew exactly what to say to get the attention of the American people. He already had in mind who he was going to pick in position for foreign policy, national security, and defense (“Donald Trump is the ultimate Machiavellian prince”). With this intention, he brought comfort to Americans, yet the people he was going to pick for these positions all have a common trait, which was all of them are specialist in the Middle East and Russia. Not only, was Trump attentive of America, yet he kept in mind how it was going to affect
Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign has come at a time after having a president serve for two terms. Americans are eager for change. Donald Trump promises to be the change to fix the nation’s concerns about foreign affairs, and immigration
“Make America Great Again,” the overarching theme of Presidential Candidate Donald Trump’s campaign brings to light the blunt arrogance of our beloved Donald J. Trump. Trump: a billionaire businessman, entrepreneur, and part time reality TV monkey, started his presidential run as of June 2015. He has, since his declaration of his run, been the frontrunner for the GOP Poll breaking out above the other candidates of Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz and many others by consistent double digits. His run so far has been filled with all things Americans lovingly refer to as in its entirety, Donald Trump: arrogance, controversial pursuits, and lack of explanation to anything he has planned. Though Trump himself has decades of experience with economics,
Trump may be known for his wealth but many aspects has shown that he is definitely bad in business. As president, being good in business is one of the key aspects to succeed, because you have to handle the whole nation’s financial matters. Trump boasted that he earned his own money, but he isn’t like Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg, who are self-made billionaires who were innovators in their fields. Instead, Trump’s wealth is inherited from his father. Almost all his best-known successes are deducible to family ties or money given to him by his
Donald Trump is a very successful business man that is just trying his hand in politics this election. He was born in Queens, New York on the fourteenth of June in 1946 and later graduated business school at the Warton School of Finance. Other than the acting chairman and president of his own organization, Trump has become a successful author of over 15 bestselling books including “The Art of the Deal.” He is also an Emmy nominee for his show “The Apprentice” which coined the phrase “you’re fired!”(“About Donald J. Trump”). Though he may not have much governing experience, he sure has gotten a lot
Presidential elections are an important aspect of U.S. history. This year is probably one of the more interesting ones since Donald Trump, an entertainer, is running for president even though he has no experience with politics. His campaign is widely criticized but he still holds a major lead from 30-40% depending on the state. Donald Trump should not be the President of United States at all, his views are bigoted, sexist and racist. Our president should not feel that he is superior to others and constantly degrade others for their race, religion, gender, etc. Not only are his views disgraceful but he has no past experience with politics,
When speaking about someone who is open to newness we are looking at someone who has a big imagination and has a broad range of interest. People who are high in this personality trait tend to be more adventurous and creative than the average person. Trumps characteristics shows that he is low in this trait. “Make America great again,” Trump’s campaign slogan. Trump claims that he can put our country back into the great state it was, such as when our forefathers molded our economy and government. He claims that by
Donald Trump’s Immigration Reform plan claims to 'Make America Great Again’. Trump wants to revive the nation with three core principles: a nation without a border is not a nation, a nation without laws is not a nation, and a nation that serves its own citizens is not a nation. With goals to put a wall across the southern border, enforce government laws, and improve jobs, wages and security for all Americans, Donald Trump is rallying supporters. However, with statements from Trump those view as racist and childish, many have concerns with his execution. People can’t help but to wonder if his plans or more complicated than he leads on, ineffective, or harmful to the economy. Is Trump’s plan unrealistic or does it live up to it’s headline-grabbing
Is Donald Trump really fit to be president ? Can he make america great again ? Is he going to drag us down or bring us up? These are questions we might ask ourselves everyday, well that's if we are not supporters of Trump of course. There are many people who are against Trump or think that he would be a bad president because of his lack of political experience or just the way he acts. Some of - if not all - of our past presidents have had some type of political experience, maybe even some military experience, they might have been senators or generals. I would have to agree that he might not be a great president because of not only his lack of experience but many other things.
Will Donald Trump fulfill America’s request and actually “make America great again”? When friends of mine who are Trump supporters inform me that they support him, I don’t understand the reasons why they picture him as our future president of the united states. Donald Trump has never been an elected official. He has never been elected into an office of any kind. He’s never had to broker political compromise or gave any political speeches prior to him running for president. With no experience in politics at all, why would people think he’d make a good president? Sure, Donald Trump is a barefaced self-promoter and experienced businessman. But people don’t realize all of the mistakes he has made as a businessman. Washington, D.C., is not a type of Wall Street or anything for him to lose money or make some reckless decisions that would put our country into a deeper hole that we are already into, and also getting multiple things done within the nation’s capital takes more than a huge personality and a strong will. If Donald Trump is elected to be our president, he’ll have to quickly learn how to deal with his Democratic associates in the House of Representatives and Senate. He’ll also have to get used to the pace of government because there are moments when things can accelerate pretty quickly and also where things can move extremely slow at times. He’ll also have to get used to giving speeches on topics
“If Donald Trump's plans were ever implemented, the country would sink into a prolonged recession," said former GOP nominee Mitt Romney (Cary). By saying this Romney is trying to convey his strong belief on Trump’s ineligibility to be the president of the United States. The debate on this political issue has been going on since the presidential campaign started last year. While it is true that he won the presidential election, many Americans are still questioning if he’s the right person for their country or not. They have been considering both his personal and professional life. From his relationships to his success. Some say that his ties with other countries can be very beneficial, while others disagree due to his lack of political experience.
“Get going. Move forward. Aim high. Plan a takeoff. Don’t just sit on the runway and hope someone will come along and push the airplane. It simply won’t happen. Change your attitude and gain some altitude. Believe me, you’ll love it up here.” -Donald J. Trump. I support Donald J. Trump and every single choice he makes as a whole. The first reason I support Trump is because of his perseverance. The second reason I support Trump is because not only does he want to deport illegal immigrants, but he wants to take back millions of Americas jobs. The third reason I support Donald Trump is because he will take America out of debt. Donald J. Trump will make America great again.
A Presidents temp and personalities are consistently examined by professionals and people alike. In the case of President Trump both experts and the public have tried to figure out what makes the most powerful man in the world tick. With the recent observations of President Donald Trump his presidential personality has taken on a more unfavorable tone. Lawmakers and experts say they are troubled by Trump's extraordinary focus on his own brand and popularity. Hillary Clinton once referred to him as “temperamentally unfit to be president because of his insults of women, Latinos and disabled people.” After all the reviews and opinions of his constituents it still has not calmed his demeanor since becoming the 45th president.
Donald Trump is known for his erraticism and exceptional businesses practices. He shows an eccentric leadership style, which is portrayed by numerous qualities. One of these is the need for power. This is revealed by all the
A president with a humble heart would be less likely to become corrupt with power. Since the president’s decisions affect the United States citizens as a whole, the president must be cautious and wise. The president must be sure to explore every available avenue to find the best plan of action which would bring forth the best result. An open mind, a strong sense of diplomacy, honesty, and accountability are also important factors of a good president. Diplomacy is necessary to be able to come to a compromise with an opponent by understanding and using some of the opponent’s proposed ideas to find a middle ground. Presidential candidate Donald Trump does not fit the characteristics a good president should have because of his lack of political background, his narcissism, his inability to argue without committing logical fallacies, and his discriminatory remarks towards people of other races, religions, and
