Beyoncé Knowles, a well-known singer, songwriter uses two of her songs: “Freedom” and “Formation” to tell the story of herself. “Freedom” is the beginning of her story where she is searching for freedom and equality showing that there is still much inequality and injustice for African Americans in America today. The song slowly transitions to a more positive tone when she seems to have made something beneficial out of her difficult situation. “Formation,” however, has a completely different tone. While she does address negative situations from the past at the beginning of the song, she quickly transitions to a more positive tone full of pride in where she came from, who she has become, and what she has overcome. Aaliyah was my best friend, we told eachother everything, I was there with her when she first recorded her first song, we sang together, we even wrote a song together, i thought of her like a little sister, little did I know of the short time I had with her. I remember when I first heard of her, she was performing in Las Vegas with the famous singer Gladys Knight. You should have seen my face full of shock and awe as I heard this eleven year old’s voice, the way she hit all the right notes, and how her voice blended perfectly with Gladys was amazing. From that point on I knew she was going to be a superstar, and that I wanted her, no needed to have her in one of my albums. Three years later, yet again she surprises me by her debut album with

Jerilyn, a teenager within the ABC Primetime Video The Lost Children Behind Bars committed a variety of different minor crimes throughout her years ranging from trespassing, disorderly conduct, marijuana use, and habitual truancy (Emsnyc12, 2012). Along with these minor crimes, Jerilyn had also committed a very serious criminal offense of child molestation against her nephew, which led to her being put into the Adobe Mountain Juvenile Corrections Facility (Emsnyc12, 2012). With that being said, her criminal behavior can very much be attributed to substantial events that occurred within her life at a very young age. At six years old, Jerilyn was molested by her mother’s boyfriend and this lasted for an entire month. (Emsnyc12, 2012). Soon after this molestation occurred, various changes within Jerilyn’s life began to emerge, as one may suspect. She soon began to turn to crime as a way to deal with this terrible life event and began smoking marijuana, using alcohol, and skipping school as well as not coming home for long periods of time (Emsnyc12, 2012). Jerilyn being molested by her mother’s boyfriends had a profound impact on her life and can very much be a leading factor in her committing her own act of child molestation on her nephew, who was six at the time (Emsnyc12, 2012). From a very young age, after the molestation occurred, Jerilyn was emerged into a life of crime, with the final act of child molestation landing her in the Adobe Mountain Juvenile Corrections

With regards to our relationship with Tiffany Snelling and her business (Community Connections), so far we just have several DDA's opened...However, the Term Loan will generate about $32,000 in interest income for the first year. The line of credit, if used at $250,000, would generate about $10,000. We are not sure yet on the Treasury Management side of things though...I would ballpark a relationship value of $45,000 in RPMS revenue with the potential for more in the future (PCG, Wealth Mangement, etc).
