I am currently unemployed and a full time student at World Campus. My most recent organization I was employed with was the United States Navy. The ship I was stationed on used an organizational model similar to the functional organization chart. However, the Navy as a whole would be similar to the multidivisional organization chart. I think the organization the Navy uses is effective in the mission. The CEO is considered the Commanding Officer of a specific ship. The Executive Officer would be below the Commanding Officer and subsequently the Command Master Chief of the precise ship. On each ship there is a clear chain of command. The ship is divided into divisions based on individual’s ratings (jobs) and has structure within each division.

The Roman army was powerful and had many features in their time of period to fight and win the enemies of the Roman Empire. The most important part that I liked in the Roman army was its hierarchical system that they had military ranks, military branches and uniforms.
