SY389B- Unit 1 Critical Reflection Paper Hello Professor Bird, I am a student in your SY389B that approached you after class on Monday to inquire about receiving an extension due to having food poisoning that has in turn caused my vertigo to act up. I was unable to attend class today as when I got back to Waterloo I took my medication, as I was very dizzy, and only woke up a few hours ago. I have been working on my Unit 1 Critical Reflection Paper but have been unable to complete it up to your standards. I want to produce my best work as this assignment is work 30% of my overall grade and was wondering if it would be possible to have a little extra time. If not, I understand that I will receive 3% off per day that my assignment is late. Also,
While implementing Primary Health Care models, identical to those in metropolitan areas, in a rural setting is not practical, I feel there is an obvious need to improve primary health care in remote areas. This is due to the significant health gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, in rural and remote areas
Due to the prolonged illness and absence of Felicia Kamara, I`m aware that she might have missed important class assignments and tests. To help her succeed, what arrangements can be made for Felicia Kamara to complete theses assignments and tests this coming week? Please communicate with me to schedule a time to help Felicia Kamara complete her assignments and tests. Thank you in advance for your time.
Once the K-1 writing booklets arrived and I was able to complete my own overview of administering this final domain my prior assumptions were inaccurate. I was pleasantly surprised to find very few questions and each one was a different measurement of a student's writing ability. I was able to immediately lower each of my ELL student's affective filters and raise their motivation by letting them know that this portion would not take as long as the last one and they were going to do
I have been sick with the stomach bug for the past three days and I am still recovering from it. I also have had four major projects in each of my other classes. Unfortunately, I will not be able to complete the ‘Effective Email Assignment’ before the due date. If you are willing, can you please extend the deadline for this assignment? If so, I will finish the assignment before the extended due date. I believe I can give you my best for the assignment when I will not be rushed to complete the assignment, sick to my stomach, and stretched with other assignments. If not, is there any extra credit I can do to earn back the points I will miss? Thank you!
I am your liaison for the Springs unit with the Person Directed Transition Team in cottage 10. Kris Wright asked me to email you and to see if you could place me on the email list for meetings and meeting locations, I come to the clinical meetings on Wednesday at 1:00 and sometimes the meeting site gets moved.
Today i was trying to work on the printing assignment, but it started to bleed through the screen after multiple attempts. I had to leave without finishing due to my next class and couldn't come to your class today because of a family issue. I was wondering if i would be able to have your help in finding out what i was doing wrong. I can not meet with you tomorrow during your office hours, but i can after 9am - 140pm or on Wednesday during your office times. Thank you
Since the final plan is my thoughts merged with the publisher’s plan, there are some similarities. I decided to keep the publisher's content-area objective: Identify tools and explain the uses of tools used to measure weather, because I thought it was a very nice, general objective that covers the entire lesson. I played off of the publishers plan for the anticipatory set, but they are very similar. The published lesson asked students to think about measuring with a thermometer, where I asked students the reverse: What tool do you use when you are sick? How?
In the morning time, I and another student went to each of the classes that you teach on the first and second floor. After a few minutes of looking the morning bell rang so I had to make my way to class so I wouldn't be late. I wanted to know if it is okay if I could turn my paper in on Monday morning which I will be having your class.
EDUC 641 was an interesting course that made me look at distance education is whole different light. Prior to taking this course, I did not have a firm understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an eModerator, nor understood how many hats they wear in order to make online courses run smoothly. Compared to a moderator in traditional classroom setting, eModerators have to acquire certain skills that normal moderators may not have, including keeping discussions on track, contributing knowledge without interfering with student self-directed learning, scanning, weaving and summarizing student responses, as well as keeping group harmony in discussions. The e-moderator must acquire technical and communication skills, understand the content
I am very fortunate to be able to receive an opportunity to apply to participate in a psychosocial summer session for Level 1 Fieldwork. I have a strong interest in participating in one of these sessions because, working with Pediatrics has always been an interest of mine. Growing up, I attended the Wyoming Valley West School District. During this time, I not only helped to begin a group (CLICS) involved in working with the students who have special needs to complete their ADLs & IADLs in and outside of the school setting, but I was also able to continue through and stay heavily involved through my educational career. Working with these individuals, was able to provide me with a first hand experience on how to approach and handle any situations
Overall, I find my feedback for my AT1 in HNN215 very frustrating and upsetting which makes very sad. I think its too much for me to get a mark of 0/40 for the first criteria. According to her audio feedback when she started reading my essay “It was difficult to understand”. Most of the comment on the audio were mostly heart breaking (mostly negative comments) I know something in there I have done correctly.
The book “Divergent” was a novel by Veronica Roth. The book falls into the categories of realistic fiction and scientific fiction. The setting of the book is set in a futuristic society in Chicago where it is divided into five factions. They are Abnegation, Dauntless, Erudite, Candor, and Amity. The story of “Divergent” is told by first person since the narrator, Beatrice is explaining the story from her own perspective. Identity is the main theme throughout the book. In addition, a person doesn’t have to be labeled as one thing, they can have multiple traits. Finding out your relationship with people and figuring out where you fit in plays a big part to the theme of the story.
The whole course has been absorbing and rewarding. The experience has made me think about the world differently. Studying with the Open University has reshaped my private life. This will be explained later in this review.
Total Internal Reflection: Internal reflection refers to light travelling from a higher index medium to a lower index medium, which causes the ray to bend away from the normal, so the exit angle is greater than the incident angle. As the angle of incidence increases, so does the angle of refraction. Total internal reflection takes place when the angle of incidence is greater than the
Decisions, Decisions, are always hard especially when there about someone you love. In this essay I will be summing up the documentary Extremis which is a live film that took place in a hospital. This film showed a lot of personal things that happened to people and their families dealing with death or life-threatening injuries but always remember; No matter how good or bad your life is going always remember to be thankful because someone somewhere is fighting to survive. When watching documentaries what comes to mind? Is it a lot of talking, a lot of boring information, or maybe even a lot of repetitive information? Most of these things are true, but it takes analyzation to understand what’s going on when, what’s going on why, why the music stops and starts at different times, and even the purpose of the film. When watching a documentary film, you should make sure you have analyzed what’s going on as far as the editing and the transitioning because those two basically sum up the story.
