How to Unpack and Organize Your New Home
If you followed our packing strategies, unpacking your home room by room shouldn’t be too difficult. Being able to take your labelled boxes to their appropriate rooms instead of stacking everything in the living room will already put you a step ahead.
But going from there takes some planning.
Start With Essentials
The first thing you should locate and unpack in your new home are living essentials such as:
• Hygiene items like toothbrush, shampoo, toothpaste, soap, etc.
• Toilet paper for using the bathroom
• Your sheets and pillows for your bed
• What you’ll be wearing in the next few days
And if you have pets, unpacking their items and helping them adjust to their new home should also be one of

To unpack and organize these key living areas, start with big items first. You won’t be able to put books on a bookshelf unless the shelf is already set up. You won’t be able to put a lamp and nice vase on your side table unless the side table has already been placed there. So how do you organize your main living areas?

How to Organize and Plan Your Kitchen
1. Consider where you spend the most time preparing food.
If you’re in front of the stovetop a lot, you don’t want spices, ladles and your common cooking supplies to be on the opposite side of the kitchen.
2. Prioritize your cabinet real estate.
If you have children reaching for cereal and bowls daily, put those items in easily accessible places. Holiday dishes, serving platters and unusual appliances like juicers that you may not use as

Near the door of my room to the right there are 3 posters and my art table. Next to my blue chair I have a desk that's lined up with my bed. At the foot of my bed is my dresser and TV. This is just a few items along with the new furniture, lighting, windows, flooring, paint, and wiring. With these updates this will help the individuals feel more at home and less confused in this secure environment.
One way to do this is to pack certain items together. For example, things that belong in the bathroom can be placed in one box and labeled accordingly. This way, when the movers comes, they know exactly where to place the box in your new home and there will be no confusion when it comes time to unpack everything.
Have all of your pots, pans and food preparation tools all in one place. This will save you a lot of time when you are in the kitchen working alongside others who do not live there. If you have to stop work every time someone needs a certain tool, you can quickly get behind on your tasks. Having everything within easy reach of all of the cooks makes things run more smoothly. While you are doing this it is a good time to make sure that you have enough containers for leftovers.
Packing in order is important because you don't want to pack up things you use everyday three weeks before the move. Start with clothes that aren't in season but you plan to keep. Decorative items are great to pack up next. In order to make things a lot easier, keep a few things out that will be used on a daily basis such as a few towels, shower items, a few outfits, and toiletries. This helps you get down the bare bones of what's vital to use and still maintain a sense of normalcy through what's normally a stressful process.

Well, the movers are here now. As soon as the mover's staff arrives, they will start loading items into the trucks. Give them clear instructions on what to move and give them a floor
Take frequent visits to your new home. During these trips take time to visualize where your treasured belongings will go. The visits will also give you a good idea of the amount of space for your furniture, appliances, and decorative pieces.
Focus on unpacking and organizing your kid's bedrooms first. This allows them to have a homey, comfortable space immediately in the new home. When you begin unpacking the rest of the house, do so methodically. Only unpack what you can put away immediately. Unpacking too soon is chaotic and results in stressful clutter. Find a home for everything you unpack as soon as you take it out of the box.
Finally, make sure your move is organized. Even if it takes some effort throughout the process, it is important that you stay organized and understand what is going on. Keep organized notes and create a filing system that helps you find information and items you need with
Staying organized is a skill, and just like any talent it requires practice. In the same way you would start a diet or an exercise plan, begin by making one or two positive changes every week, and eventually, an organized home will be part of your daily lifestyle.
Did you accidentally throw something really important away, like homework or your car keys? Today I’m going to show you how to be an organized hoarder. You should trust me because I almost failed Middle school because I wasn’t organized. I have seven steps on how to be an organized hoarder. The supplies you might need and how to use them and when, how you can find things easier so you never lose anything, and how to make sure you don't use all of your space. So here is seven steps on how to be an organized hoarder.
In order to get organized; you need to get rid of any unwanted items that are laying around, such as garbage, dirty dishes, and of course dirty clothes. Once you get all of these items in their designated spots, you will be left with only the items that actually belong in your bedroom. From there you would begin to start putting these remaining items in their proper place. I would suggest to start with folding all of your clothes and getting them put away in either your dresser or closest because your clothes often times take up the most space. Then you can focus on all of the other random things that are scattered about.
In the corner you can see the fairies and pixies fighting over the pizza i was eating yesterday which is infact my favourite food. The design of the rooms is very unique like everything has been put in a place for a reason. The oldest think i can remember here is the sofa which i bought 2 years ago. I remember when we first bought it, the smile on my face and the arguing between my dad and brother. "Go left, Go left" he would yell. Ahh good times. It used to be clean but the constant food i would eat on it could have changed that. Like most teenagers i have many posters on my walls mostly of role models that I admire, favourite teams and a few cute girls here and there. The most visible thing here is probably the red carpet that covers the bedroom as far as your eyes can see. In the corner of my bedroom is my desk which I normally do all of my homework and assignments, On top of it sat my computer which is always on. My previous desk somehow broke and
