Vaclav Havel was the last president of Czechoslovakia and the first of the Czech Republic, after communism ended in Czechoslovakia and the country split. He began his political career as a writer and a political dissident. When he was 40 years old, Havel was thrown into prison for leading a political movement called Charter 77, which gained much popularity among Czechs, as it was signed by hundreds of people. Dr Herbert Vere Evatt was born on the 30th of April 1894 in East Maitland, NSW to parents publican John Evatt and his wife Jeanie Evatt. “Bert” as he was nicknamed, was the fifth of eight sons. John, Bert’s father died when Herbert was seven leaving him to play a major role in the upbringing of his three younger brothers. On April 25th, 2018 Erick Davila a 31-year-old black male was executed in the Texas State Prison for two murders. The victims were two black females, one a five-year-old named Queshawn and her Grandmother Annette. The killings happened at a children’s birthday party in Fort Worth Texas with intended target of Jeffery Stevenson a local gang rival of Erick. Erick was on death row 9 years prior to his execution doing everything he could to get the ruling overturned due to his claims of drug use. The U.S. Supreme Court rejected his pleas due to evidence of him having intentions to kill a various amount of people. Erick claimed to mistakenly kill the two victims while intending to kill two other gang rivals.

Born on 12th September 1937, George would become a five-time Canadian heavyweight champion and two-time world heavyweight title challenger facing noteworthy names such as Joe Frazier, George Foreman and Muhammad Ali twice. George is known for taking incredible amounts of pain and considered one of the best chins (a term used in boxing for the capability to tolerate physical damage to the chin or jaw without being knocked unconscious) in boxing history. Louis Riel: Hero or villain, many would disagree on the matter even centuries later to come! Riel was obviously a traitor against John.A.macdonald and his country because of many reasons! The infamous Louis riel stood in the way of the national policy (led by SJAM). He also responded with violence against our government on more than one occasion, the man never seemed to be happy with the government despite its efforts! In conclusion Louis Riel was a traitor guilty of treason and was a mad man.
Marisol is one of my sibley buddy and she is a very shy and quiet girl. She's excited everyday to learn new things. She loves to read and work on her vocab and she gets better every time I review with her. She spends lots of time with her grandma and she admire her a lot. She loves to color and play with dolls. She also loves to listen to hispanic music with her family. Another thing Marisol loves to do is play outside in the snow and in the summer and her favorite color is pink. My other buddy is Chris, chris is very stubborn but, but very out going. He’s excited to see me everytime I come. I am very glad i never missed a day at sibley because I know it would disappoint him. He’s always excited to play games but is very hard to get him to want to learn. He loves to play with legos and cars. His favorite color is red and he enjoys holidays when he can spend time with his family and eat lots of food. He loves thing that goes his way and doesn’t like it when it goes someone else's way.
Plattner’s financial success story began in 1972 when he and four colleagues quit IBM, to launch the German software company called SAP SE. Plattner stepped down from his position as CEO in May 2003 as has since served as the chairman of the supervisory board.
The events that eventually led to the successful revolution in 1989 got their start in the “Prague Spring” in 1968. There was a brief period of political reform in Czechoslovakia in 1968, when Alexander Dubcek was elected to be the First Secretary of Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. Many of Dubcek’s reforms were trying to give more rights to the citizens as well as relaxing government censorship.
