When we found out I was 4 months pregnant H said it was time for us to go home. I was relieved. C6: I can only imagine what that must have been like for you? It sounds though that you lived a very exciting life, the life your husband promised. P6: Exactly, it was so exciting. God truly blessed us. He blessed us with safety and health most importantly. When it was time for us to retire, we both knew we had accomplished all we set out to do. God would be pleased I thought. We decided to retire in Loma Linda since we had two children here and our grand children. C7: Tell me about your relationship with your children and grand children? P7: We were quite blessed even up to the time when H was dying the kids would come by every Friday night to start the Sabbath with us, the grand kids would sing to him and bring their instruments and play for him. You should have seen the last time we worshiped together. I know Jesus and His angels were watching down on us. C8: How has it been since H’s death? P8: Oh, the kids and grand kids still come by and we still have worship, it’s just that…. (Then she paused) C9: What is it, UT? P9: Well after the kids and grands used to leave we would always talk about each one and reminisce on stories and then pray for each one of them. Now that H is gone I feel
One of the members who assisted the church said that 20 or so members live with the pastor and his wife, and some of those members

I think the spiritual care that was provided to this patient was amazing. Being place in this counselor shoes, I would have don’t the same thing. The client had a great life, until the doctor diagnosed him with terminal lung cancer, and the client was feeling very depressed and distraught about the situation until the client met the counselor. At first the counselor did not want to help the client, and stated that he had his own personal beliefs, and don’t want to compare the religion beliefs with the client. When counseling someone, it is very rare to discuss the personal beliefs with the clients. In this case, the counselor help the client find his own religious beliefs and help him find eternity. The client was amazed as of how the counselor helped him find beyond life, death, and after death. The client asked for forgiveness and grace and felt more comfortable of dying.
Lately, Mr. B has been forgetting to pay his bills and hasn’t be too responsive to the hospice staff. As a result of, his unresponsiveness the hospice staff at New Century has decided to increase his monthly visit and possibly get a volunteer to do weekly visits. His motivation for seeking services is because he was referred by his physician but while being on hospice services he has recognizes that he is slowly declining and getting weaker each day. Mr. B take full advantage of the social services that New Century Hospice offers, he has a limited food supply due to the lack of a vehicle, and he utilizes the spiritual care services provided. However, Mr. B identifies as a man of Christian faith and receives biweekly visit from the Chaplain to exercise his Christian beliefs; but it is clear that Mr. B has some reservation towards his Christian values because he often questions his salvation.
On Monday, I went to the local Crossroads Baptist Church, located at 850 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, VA. This was my first time experience as I am Hindu and my parents never exposed me to any churches. Dr. Kenneth K. Baldwin was the pastor at the time I went. Luckily, I got the chance to speak with him after the service. After our brief conclusion, I realized that he had a great vision for his church and is leading it to success through his passion. I sensed his passion for preaching and religious beliefs as they were evident during the service. Despite this being my first visit to a church, I learned a lot of valuable things about churches and Christianity.
However, when looking at the Organization, I saw UT South-Western Medical Centre at Dallas. Perfect! That’s exactly where my friend works & she had sent an email during the day while at work.
After meeting Pastor Bobby Guerra I found to be very comfortable with the people and atmosphere. I kept going to service on a consistent base along with working and trying to get my life back on track that was one of the biggest struggles I’ve experienced only because I should have gotten it a long time ago and now trying to get it all back. I had got so comfortable with the church when they had invited me to their park outreaches for the community I was hesitant to go because I didn’t know if I was done with the past and the wreckage had haunted me.
The three of us arrived at the church about 30 minutes before the service started. I noticed as I waited for everything to start that this church had a phenomenally diverse range of attendees. There was your typical grandmother with her
*The next day during the afternoon* I told him the news, but in order for my husband to go along with the idea, I had to tell him my secret and all the info I told you guys. Which might end badly but I sincerely hope it doesn’t. The doctor said that he would go through with what we wanted but asked us a few times if we were sure about our decision. I then went through with the surgery, the baby was born we named her mary. *Later that night* I (the husband) went to grab some food for my wife and I. When I got back I found my wife on the floor and she had already passed.

What was once believed to be a form of neglect has resulted in a change in practice with the idea that doing less is more. Culture is an important factor in how care is rendered and thus, the limitations of palliative and hospice care lie within the desires of the family and patients. A thorough understanding of our surrounding demographics helps to ensure a seamless approach to providing care without bias or imposition of ones beliefs. However, just as with all things, providing care for the sick and comforting the dying should be rendered in moderation as to prevent the effects of burn out. Likewise, the same effects occur in the caregivers who sacrifice their responsibilities in order to care for their love ones. Finally, and with some closing thoughts, the writer wishes to express with gratitude the benefit of having taken this course to better understand oneself and others in the realm of healthcare. The lessons learned throughout have expanded this writer's knowledge and understanding of the human desire to make a connection through communication, emotion, compassion, and spiritually - the platform from which this writer wishes to continue seeking further knowledge and
In this extract, Macbeth responds to the witches prophecies. “Two truths are told, As happy as prologues to the swelling act Of the imperial theme.” The witches have been proved right on two counts, they correctly said Macbeth will become the Thane of Cawdor as well as Glamis. And how he hopes the next largest truth will come true and he will become the King of Scotland. Shakespeare begins to show the conflict within Macbeth, “This supernatural soliciting Cannot be ill, cannot be good: if ill, why hath it given me earnest of success Commencing in a truth?”

Then again in 2001 more tragedy struck our family. My dad’s brother, my uncle, was diagnosed with a brain tumor and he fought very hard for a long time but unfortunately in 2002 he passed away from it and this was a very hard time for everyone. Not only because of the person he was, but it was my grandmother’s child, and no parent should have to live to see the day one of their children passes. He also was working to become a reverend at his church and was extremely active with youth groups to help children find more religion in their lives. There was probably no one less deserving of his young death than him. But as time moved on, we coped and continued the dinners and continued to stay positive and loving. Over time we as the grandchildren, there is 5 of us, played baseball in the front yard and backyard, played basketball in the street in front of the house, played video games and so many other games like hide and seek and capture the flag (which was hard to play inside the house) we watched numerous world series games and super bowls
