In the small town of Fusignano, Italy, on a chilly winter evening of February 17th, 1653, Arcangelo Corelli was born to single mother Santa Raffini. when I four years old it was the first time I heard you, and I fell in love with you. You taught me a lot, persistent, patience, and above all the love of music. I am forever grateful for Bartolommeo Cristofori because he invented you, and forever changed the world how music would sound as it was played. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for not breaking when I slammed my fingers or fists on your keys or when I stomped my foot on your pedals, because I did not want the wrath of fury from my mom. Thank you for filling the room with beautiful melodies when I played and had no words to express how I felt. Thank you for bringing the joy of music into my family. Now that I am an adult, and not knowing what the future holds for me, but I know
