Water pollution is caused by impurities in water eg, lakes,rivers, oceans and even drinking water. This contaminated water can be the result of many different types of pollution whether it is natural or man made pollutants that pollute the water. This can have a significant impact on the environment as a whole. Moreover there are a number of other related issues that can be attributed to water pollution such as death and diseases. "Water pollution actually accounts for the deaths of approximately 14000 people daily (West)." Water pollution is a reality that many impoverished countries and developing nations face on a daily basis. A major reason why these developing countries are more likely to have their water resources polluted is because of how common pollution is in these countries and nations. The causes , effects and solutions to water pollution must be found in order to combat scarcity of clean water So what is responsible for water pollution or what are the factors that are responsible for causing water pollution . It was firstly defined that water pollution was as a result of contaminated or polluted water. The contaminants in the water make it undrinkable and also to make it unsafe for any type of natural use. Some of the factors that are responsible for water pollution are factors such as mechanization that was introduced to industries.
