America’s Gift to my Generation There is many gifts America has given to my generation, so much that I will not be able to list them all here. All of the amazing gifts America has given to my generation was earned. I believe that we take some of them for granted, we sometimes do not understand all the great and wonderful things America has given to this generation. So, I will be listing some of the most important gifts that has earned and then given to my generation. One of the best gifts my generation has is freedom. Although, freedom is not given; it is earned. Every year we have soldiers going to Japan, Germany, South Korea, Italy, Afghanistan, Guam, and many more places. Though, I’m not sure we realize that these brave soldiers are
The reason I think that freedom is a gift is that we don’t have to fight for freedom anymore, we already have it. In the past, many people volunteered to risk their lives for their families and for the future generations. Many women fought for a women’s rights to vote, and own land so that they have more freedom. Because of that many women now have much more rights due to the women in the past. I also can conclude that freedom in America is a huge gift because we do not
John Quincy Adams once said, “You will never know how much it has cost my generation to persevered our freedom.” America has given us many gifts throughout the years. One of the greatest gifts to me is freedom, freedom to say whatever we want. Also, we know that we will be safe no matter what we do because our veterans are standing up for us.
To live free you must fight for your right and to fight there will be blood to be shed but america will triumph at the end. The gift to my generation is the us army because they are always there when we need them. They are always willing to fight when things go drastically rong so that peace is kept. They are even willing to give their lives for us because they all believed in the idea of a free country. These are all the reason that america's army is the gift to my generation.
Have you ever wondered about America's gift to your generation. Have you taken taken the time to think about any gifts America has given you to your generation. Do you have any family members that have fought in any of the world wars or any wars. The few gifts I thought of is the gift or rights, education, speech, and opinion.
America’s gift to my generation is the gift of freedom and equality. America’s gift of freedom falls under the gift of the freedom to use the internet and the free internet, the gift of racial and sexual equality, and the gift of the maintenance of freedom.
What gift has America given to my generation? America has given so much. If it didn’t exist then we probably wouldn’t be able to choose our education, technology, freedom, career, entertainment, lifestyle, or religion. We probably would be living in a bad environment.
America’s gift to our generation is freedom, education, and technology. Education is important to our generation is because without education we will not be able to go to school and learn about math, reading, history, and science. Without education all of what we own will not exist to this day like technology that we use everyday and also the products that we use to this day will not be around. Another reason why education is important to our generation so students can be prepared for the world that awaits them and to get a job that students have learned over the school years that they were in. Those are my reasons that education is important to our generation.
America has given us many things. Many things, that most people take for granted. Things such as our freedom, and schools. What many people don’t realize is that without our soldiers, fallen heros, and veterans, America probably wouldn’t be the same as it was today. We might not have gotten our independence, and would’ve still been under control of the British. We might have lost World War one or two, or any war for that matter.
In Lee Greenwood’s words,”Im proud to be American where at least I know I'm free.”It is an honor being an American knowing I am protected by my brother and a lot of other military troops.I know I am free because we fought to take slavery away and now there are now slaves so everybody is free from slavery. There are still so many reasons why it is a gift to be an American in my generation.
Americas gift to my generation would have to be technology and the amount we have grown as a generation compared to the many generations before us.
America has given many gifts to my generation. I think the biggest gift we have received is freedom. In past generations America has not had freedom. Then only some Americans had freedom, and not everyone was treated fairly. Now everyone in America has freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly. We have not had always all of these wonderful freedoms we have today. Lots of times people take these freedom for granted, and don’t remember how much others had to go through to get us these freedoms. The veterans that fought in the revolutionary war, fought to give us these freedoms that lots now take for granted. I think it is a blessing and a gift for us to have be free country. We are allowed to believe in whatever and whoever we want, we can speak our own opinion. We are allowed to meet and discuss whatever we want, whatever we want.
I believe that my generation has more gifts from the citizens of America than any other generation. We should be grateful for the men and women who have died to give us freedom, freedom that some countries don’t have. We have the freedom of speech that some countries have never had. We are given the freedom of religion that our ancestors have immigrated to America for. We are grateful for the gift of freedom.
There is a bunch of things that America has gave to my generation, but the one that stands out is freedom. Freedom is what America gave to me, it is a major thing to have freedom cause you look at these 3rd world countries and some of them have very little right’s but most of them do not rights at all so that's why i think is a gift for my generation . ‘‘one flag, one land, one hand, one nation evermore’’! -Oliver Wendell Holmes. The reason i chose this quote is because, it represents America's independents and why it’s the best nation. One gift of freedom America has given to me id the freedom of speech. Now you can get in trouble from what you say ,but unlike other nations you won’t be killed from what you say.
The current generation in America has been gifted with many things from those who worked and fought hard for them, which they often take for granted. Many soldiers and workers from the past, and present, have fought to keep our freedom, and rights, to keep America as a land of opportunity. Young Americans have been given great rights and opportunities for their country they live in.
Their are so many things that America has given to my generation, one of the most important, and bigger things to me is our freedom. The first way that America fought for our freedom was in 1775 through 1783 when America went to war with Britain. Britain was controlling the U.S, raising tax payments, and Britain gave the Americans lack of representation, America fought and gave our generation, our freedom from Britain. Another example from America giving my generation freedom was in 1861 to 1865, for the battle of African American freedom.
