The biggest challenge for many of us is how to balance our studies, work and family demands. While we want happy fulfilling lives outside of family, work and school, we have to make personal sacrifices in order to be successful in life. Since time is precious, keeping a balance between three worlds can be a challenge. Fortunately, with proper planning, balance is possible. Every day, I have to make choices and manage my time incredibly well in order to be able to balance my online studies, my work and family demands. In my opinion family demands, work and studies balance are a process, not a static achievement. So, it is important to make the decisions selecting careers

My philosophy is in order to have more I must to do more; therefore I have to take advantage of every opportunity. When doing more than what is expected I believe I will eventually be rewarded. I am very determined that in ten years from now I will have a successful business. I am a self-motivated individual with the ability to adapt quickly. I make no excuses and complete every task to my best

However, I wanted a well paid job as a Business Manager in one of the large research departments at the University of Maryland. This was my dream job. However, a major challenge for me trying to obtain my dream job was that I didn't have yet a College Degree in Business Administration or any related area. I was pursuing a College Degree in Business Administration but I still had many years left to complete my degree. Again, as usual, my beloved mentor Joao came to my rescue. He taught me that even though I did not have a College Degree yet there were unconventional but very effective ways to land my dream job. He told me to apply for jobs before they are ever listed. Thus, I needed to connect with people from all walks of life at University of Maryland to learn about these hidden opportunities. Then, as I developed mastery in business administration and the specific business processes standardized at University of Maryland I would continue to create job opportunities even though I did not have yet a College Degree. He insisted that these large departments will always need people who can deliver strong results. I started to get interviews at the large research departments and I insisted in my interviews, as Joao advised, that I was willing to learn and I was not afraid to constantly educate myself. This way, I landed my dream job as a Business Manager at the Astronomy Department in spite of not having a College Business Degree yet. I have been there for almost 10

But the work was not clicking. I felt so disconnected from it and I could not succeed in these types of courses. I thought maybe the classroom cannot teach you everything because there are all different types of learning so I decided to get hands on. My first internship was with a company called Tennis to the Max. A

My personal goal as a student at the University of Phoenix is to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management within the next two years. This goal is very important to me because of the impact it will have on my family, work and personal life. In my family it will set a positive example for my daughters, grandchildren, and youngest sister. My family has been a source of support throughout my years in college as I have pursued this degree while maintaining a full time job. Obtaining the degree will be an accomplishment not only for me but also for my family who has given me the encouragement to reach my goal. I would like for my grandchildren to remember their grandmother as a strong and educated woman.
They married in October 1997, and welcomed their daughter Rebecca in January of 1998. They would conceive again for a second time, but Tiffany would suffer a miscarriage. One of the crucial moments in my life was the decision I had to take; as to what I was going to do next in life. Having completed my Advanced Level in 2013, I realized that it was not the end of my career as a student. I needed strong academic foundation along with other soft skills to meet the challenges and survive in this commercial world as a successful individual. In view of these thoughts, I was unable to make a firm decision as to what my career direction would be. After a month or so of various discussions with my parents, friends and other learned people I was able to reason out the best choice for me.
My Career Plan The future is uncertain for me, but it is important to develop a career plan that will provide financial support and personal fulfillment over the course of my professional life. To make this transition from school to a professional career, I am going to plan a plan that will help me stay focused and motivated in meeting my goals and objectives. In the next paragraphs, I will explain my ten-year plan for my
First, I wanted a career where I can be satisfied both intellectually and financially. Second, in academia intelligent, motivated and stimulating individuals, who in turn, would motivate me and shape my thoughts, goals and research, would surround me. In addition, I would have the opportunity to interact with leading professionals in my field. Also, the journey towards learning and discovery never ends in academia. Not mention, my high GPA which made me eligible for teaching assistant positions. Therefore, I had focused on applying for jobs at universities, colleges, and educational institutions where perusing graduate studies was potential. After a year of filling out applications, making interviews, and travelling around Saudi Arabia, I received a phone call from Buraidah Community College to come and finish the paper work as I was accepted as a Teaching Assistant in their English Language
