What Are Sports Players More Than Soldiers

Why should sports players get paid more than soldiers? Sports players risk not only their lives, just as soldiers do too, but also the future of their career. Imagine risking your life, your future, and your whole family on a everyday basis. This is the life of all sports players. Most people are always biased on this topic because they have friends or family members serving in the military or simply because people are willing to go into war for the love of their nation. Although most people may be biased, there are many reasons why sports players should be paid more and why they are paid more.

A CPL in the united states army only makes about $10-$13 an hour for defending our country really? I believe that a person defending our freedoms and our rights and keeping us safe should make more money than a person with a helmet defending a football. Only 8 football players have ever died from playing football. 2,356 died from 2001-present in 1 war alone.
