World War II was fought between two main opposing forces, the Allies and the Axis forces. The Axis powers consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan being the most dominant. On the other hand, some of the countries in the Allied powers were Great Britain, the United States, France, Australia, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, Canada, and Greece.

In this essay I will be explaining three reasons on how WW2 started. The question I used for this research was; what caused WW2? The reasons that I chose was; 1. How the treaty of Versailles caused WW2, 2. How fascism caused the war and 3. How Hitler caused WW2.

Introduction The Second World War had been fought between the Axis nations (Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, Imperial Japan and their smaller allies) and the Allied nations, led by Britain (and its Commonwealth nations), the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the United States of America (Source D). The war changed many things internationally. This included changes to do with technology and the end of European colonialism (Source D).

World War II is argumentatively one of the largest events in war history. World War II changed that world and everyone who lived during those six years. Many people believe that Adolf Hitler was the central cause for the war, however, it is important to understand that there are many other causes. These include: Treaty of Versailles, Fascism, Hitler and the Nazi party, the Great Depression, and appeasement. It would be extremely difficult to place blame on only one specific person or event for World War II. However, a mixture of many things can and may however hold the blame for World War II. It is crucial to understand the impact that World War II left countries throughout the world, especially since only eight countries declared neutrality during this wartime. Even though only eight countries remained neutral during WWII, it does not mean that every other country in the world was heavily involved in the world. Even countries who were not heavily involved in the war, were still effected by the war itself.

The Axis Powers, Germany, Italy, and Japan against the Allied Powers, the United States, the Soviet Union, France, Great Britain, and to an extent China. The war was kindled after a Nazi German invasion of Poland in 1939, which resulted in Britain and France declaring war on Germany. As Germany was determined to carry on their invasions, their allies (the Axis nations) and Britain’s allies (the Allied nations) and colonies were dragged into the war, causing it to become a major world war.

World War 2 started 1939 and ended 1945 and during the war there were two groups fighting each other the allies and the axis powers. The allies included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America. The axis powers included Germany, Italy and Japan (“World War II 1939–1945).

The great global conflict of the Second World War was started because of the inexistent actions taken to prevent the war. The Second World War did not happen directly, but there was a series of events that led up to the horrific war. The deadly World War II had begun by the inability to enforce the Treaty of Versailles, the corrupted League of Nations, and the failed policy of appeasement. These three points are long term causes which express thee reasoning for the outbreak of war.

World War II was one of the biggest wars known. The things people have done, the things that have happened in that war were so graphic that it has ruined the thoughts of people forever. There were so many causes of WWII; even just one would’ve been enough to make it happen. It has affected the lives of so many people, not only people that experienced it, but individuals who have looked upon it. It was such a powerful event with things to be learned. But, it all starts and ends somewhere; and to know that you need the causes and effects.

In that war, the atomic bomb was used for the first time in 1945 by the United States against Japan. There were reasons for using the atomic bomb in the World War II.

While the United States Armed Forces were deployed in other parts of the world, the ones back home were facing the struggles of a war they had no choice but to be involved in. World War II was a pivotal point in the 1900’s for, not only states’ rights, but also human rights. The aftermath of the war brought justice to those wronged and a bright future to look ahead to.

After that America had produced thousands of airplanes, ships and etc. for its allies. The war ended the Great Depression, economically, because millions of unemployed Americans returned to work to make the products for war. Harry Truman was president during the remainder of the war. There were two major alliances during WWII: the Axis and the Allies. The Axis alliance consisted of Germany, Italy and Japan. The Allied powers were led by Great Britain, the United States and the Soviet Union. The Battle of Normandy, lasted from June 1944 to August 1944, resulted in the Allied liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Germany’s control. It is also known as D-Day. The United States launched a strike known as island-hopping," establishing island bases and also established air control. The idea was to capture key islands, until Japan was within range of American bombers. The Enola Gay, during Truman’s Presidency, became World War II 's famous airplane that dropped the world 's first atomic bomb on Hiroshima in1945.
