What Does Success Mean To Me

To me success is accomplishing the goals, doing things the right way, and doing what you love.

Success is a word that really hard to define, because everyone will have a different definition for this word. In fact, there no exact definition for the word "success". For a student, maybe the success means to pass all courses of the semester; for a business man, signing a importance contract and get a lot of money are successes; and for a president, leading the country to develop and make the people have a better life are success. For me, I also have my own definition for the word "success". When I was a kid, I really want to be a scientist, but after I become mature, my thinking has become more mature and my definition of success also

The definition of success is in the eye of the beholder. More than three-fourths of your life is spent working to become successful. People are told during childhood to work as hard as they can so they can grow up and make lots of money. But the word success can be taken in many different ways. Everyone has a different understanding of what success means to them. Generally, success means fulfilling the goals that you set for yourself. For some, success is measured by popularity and riches; for others success is determined by the amount of happiness that they feel.

“Success” is a term that is a part of our daily life. It can be defined in a variety of ways, such as achievements, awards, and college degrees. Some will even deem success as having a family, having a well-paying job, or even feel that living an uncomplicated life of contentment. But in the world that we live in today, there is not a set definition of success to go by. Only you as a person can give the meaning of success.

Undoubtedly success can only be defined by the individual. In the video, “What’s Your Definition of Success?”, a man explains that success are the smiles he receives from his wife and child. To me this is the best response because it explains that happiness should be the ultimate goal, and you will be successful no matter the outcome as long as you are happy with how you achieved your goals.

As it is commonly used, the word "success" is sometimes synonymous with another word — "winning." Success is beating the other guy and getting the big salary. Success is what happens when other people think you're a success or when you can convince them of it.

What is success? Is it the process of doing a task and receiving a positive result acceptable amongst the community, or is it simply achieving ones own personal goals? Success to me can mean many things. Although I am successful in school, that does not necessarily mean I will lead a successful life.

Success is in the eye of the beholder. The definition of success has many meanings. It could mean how high a person reaches in their career, how well they do in school, how fit they are, how smart they are, how beautiful or handsome they are and even how much money they make.

Success has a different meaning for each person. According to Oxford dictionary success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. My definition for success is to get to your goal and having the feeling of pride because of all the hard work you put into.

Success can be a fickle thing. The world as a whole views people as successful when they have a certain amount of money, own an expensive car, or any number of material things. It is not always earned, not always satisfying. Success has become a triumph, a greedy dragon hording its treasure. People step on each other, success rearing its head and battering others with fire. Yet, the pivotal definition of success is mine. More importantly, how I create my own success. Success is overcoming my circumstances and the steps I take toward accomplishing my goals.

What is success? To everyone this word has very different meanings. To some it means money or having a good career, when to some it’s much simpler than that. Dicontary.com defines success as “the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors; the accomplishment of one's goals.” To me success is as simple as happiness, having a mindset where everything revolves around peace and doing the best I can.

The accomplishment of an aim or purpose. The attainment of popularity or profit. A person or thing that achieves desired aims or attains prosperity. These are a few popular definitions for success. What is success for me? Do we have to actually be rich wealthy or a business owner to really understand the meaning of successfullness ? I will explain my opinion on success the best I can to my knoledge.

Success can be explained in so many ways. Everyone has a different meaning. Nonetheless no one is wrong about what it means to them. One sure fact about success is that it is not measurable. For example: success is not the amount of money I acquire, but for me it is the simple fact I have conquered a way to obtain it over and over again. While the rewards and benefits of my success are elements of fortune. But some people feel that prosperity in life is the definition of success. There are too many definitions for it too only be one meaning that's right.

To be successful, means to feel accomplished. Success is a mindset that varies in everyone’s mind. Everyone can be successful, depending on their definition of the feeling. My interpretation of success is when one is able to do what makes them happy and advance in life, while being content with where they are going, regardless of the negative opinions of others. Becoming content with God’s plan for your life, and investing in yourself physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and socially, will result in a better self with much success.
