Hey guys, so today if you're in Cook's classes you know that we did this awesome game called Walk the Line. It's questions that you can either agree or disagree to and explain your reasoning. Well the last day for them was today, and one question really stood out to me. It was "Anyone can succeed if you work hard enough." I totally agree with this statement because of my own personal experiences and the famous motivational speaker, Eric Thomas who has inspired me to push to my limits to become a better me. When you want to change and become that better person you've always strived to be, YOU WILL GO TO THE BRIM OF LIMITS TO GET THERE. So many people say that even if you do work hard enough you won't succeed. But in my opinion, that's totally a lie. I'm talking as if for example, I wanted to become a doctor. I know that' …show more content…
I want to be making money and be able to support my family. I will go to college, not just go, I WILL MAKE SURE to go to college. Then, I will complete the eight full years of development in order to obtain my doctorates degree. While in the mean time I will be on the lookout for jobs in need of doctors so I can just start off at the lowest stage then eventually work my way to the top. I know life doesn't just hand you awards so I will be on the highest lookout for great opportunities. I will do my best, put 150% of my devotion to make sure I'm successful so I can become the best doctor I want to be and the best doctor patients want to re-visit. I will work my hardest to achieve my goal. I will become successful. Those people who doubt others are the ones who do not have the strength or ability to reach their own personal limits and those are the people who I believe become miserable in their life and as they get older. In my personal experiences, I chose to talk about my Dad.
My motivation for furthering my education is to become a doctor. I feel obligated to be a doctor because I love knowing things about the human body and how they various parts work together. In addition, I want to be a doctor is because I love working with kids. I am a people person and especially children, which is something we the public needs more of in the medical community. More doctors that truly care about. I believe posses what it takes to do the job. Furthermore, I have watched many of my family members struggle with their finances due to the lack of job stability and I intend to carry on a different financial future .
My first goal is to graduate and get certified as a medical assistant. To reach this goal I will attend every class, study hard, and pass every class so when I complete my externship I will be confident in my new career.
the expectation that the means to achieve goals is to work harder than others.” (McGraw−Hill,
My goals for the next ten years, would be to get accepted to medical school and to graduate from medical school. Specifically, my top three medical schools that I would love to go to would be Oklahoma University Medical School, University of Colorado School of Medicine, and Oklahoma State Center for Health Sciences. To be honest though my top three are the places I would absolutely love to go to, I would gladly take a medical school that would accept me. Currently my plans for a specialty in medical school is endocrinology or immunology, I love the way that the body interacts with itself and how it is able to get confused and attack itself is probably my main interest in the specialty. My goals after I graduate medical school are, working in a hospital somewhere in Oklahoma, preferably in Oklahoma City or Tulsa, and work there as a resident for a time until I would be able to open up my own private practice or join a private practice and continue my health career from there. One of the things that has become increasingly interesting with me is Doctors Without Borders, which may end up being something that I would participate in after medical school during my residency or around the time that I would join a private practice.
I feel that the world will always need people in the medical field. I want to discover cures, medicine, and ways to improve the quality of life. I want to be apart of a major breakthrough and reveal new things no one thought would be possible for a long time. I would love to see several changes in medicine and the field such as the prevention of diseases, making the public more aware of fatalities that can occur, and most of all to give people and animals a life that is enjoyable which people in the medical profession are entitled to do everything possible to make that
My goals are to spread awareness about common illnesses and teach people the appropriate steps to avoid them. Doing so, will repair families, rejuvenate lives and return smiles to the faces of their beloved. Making sure that someone is healthy so that they can spend another decade with their family along with inspiring African Americans, is why I will continue my journey to become a physician. After my experience with the female dermatologist, a fire was lit in my belly.
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” As a child, we have all been asked this question; and as unrealistic children, we all had dreams of being a superhero, princess, cowboy, or astronaut. Later on in life, as time went by, and as we became more knowledgeable, our answers became more serious. Some of us wanted to be teachers, business owners, or a veterinarian. However, I have always wanted to be a doctor, but not just any doctor. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a pediatrician. Now, half way through my junior year in high school, I have started to question the details of this career, and all the hard work it takes to become a part of the medical field.
Hard work always pays off. These words were constantly repeated to me from a young age. My parents would tell me if I wanted to be successful, I needed to work at it and give it my full attention. Luckily, I decided to listen to them, and I can honestly say that it has paid off.
Ralph Waldo said, “unless you try to do things beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.” I agree with Ralph Waldo, push yourself to do greater things. Ralph Waldo said it right, if you don't push for greater things you will not succeed. One reason is, to be a greater person push further than what you have already accomplished. You will never get better if you keep doing the same ole thing. People who don't settle for the easy way are stronger.
I hope to possibly work for a sports team and or be employed at Kaiser as a sports or shoulder and ankle specialist. I have seen so many sports specialist, but every time I pay a visit I am fascinated with all the certain types of specialty doctors have. I want to be different from some doctors though. Instead of calling me Dr. Thai I would want people to address me as just Jason, for the reason I believe that titles create barriers. Ultimately, my biggest goal would to one day travel the world to third world countries to provide help to those in need. With the knowledge obtained from college, I could work with others to make the lives of other abroad a life worth living. I am not pursuing this career for the money, but for the reason that I may help those who may not even be able to afford doctors. My aspirations now were shaped by my favorite aunt. My aunt was a dentist who sacrificed time with her family to take care of mine. She would give everything to see my family happy. I remember she sang the song "My Heart Will Go On" as I played the song on my trumpet. She passed away a couple years ago, and I was unable to thank her for all she has done. When it is finally my turn to join her, I can finally tell her thank you. Her heart truly did go on, and I am ready to work hard to achieve my goals. For now I make progress day by
This statement resonates deeply within me and struck me in a rather profound way when I found it in a fortune cookie one day several years back. I have saved it, and kept it on my desk at work as a reminder of how far I have come and how far I have to go in achieving my life goals. The only thing that can stop me from realizing these goals is if I give up. Giving up, for me, is not an option. It is with this belief, that I pursue my graduate degree in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning as a full time employee wanting to make a deeper and more meaningful impact in my chosen field of insurance. Through my studies,
Many people are already thinking about what they want their life to be like in the future. My future begins in college. I’ve been waiting to go to college since middle school. I’m interested in taking anything in the medical field such as nursing, pharmacist, medical technician, etc. I believe this will benefit me, my family, and other people because I want to take care of my family, other patients, and also myself by learning more about health science. To me, successful is happiness, and happiness is not necessarily being wealthy. My happiness is having to help people and also having a family who cares and supports me.
My sights have changed as I have gotten older. I no longer want to become a medical doctor. I may in the far future decide to become a doctor but I would rather be a registered nurse because they deal with the patients more. I also prefer working with pediatric or gereatric patients. Whatever way that I decide to go I will always be helping someone, somewhere.
firmly believe in the philosphy that “Where there's a will, there's a way” and hard work is the key to unlock the doors of the success because there is no shortcut and alternative for attaining success.
I want to do many things in my future. As well as being a doctor who helps people, I want to live life and just be there. The future is
