The story “Night” by Elie Wiesel is based on true events that occurred in Elie Wiesel’s life when he was just 15 years old. The story takes place in Poland where he gets sent to Auschwitz concentration camp because he was a Jew. He gets separated from his mother and little sister and then begins a long journey with his father beside him. The setting of this book made the story more interesting because the author explain his whole experience in that concentration camp with such detail that it took you to that time and place. It made you experience the whole story like if you were part of it, it made the story come to life.
