1) What is the single most valuable contribution this person makes to your team? Jeanese (Mama Jean) you are the mother figure and provider of the group. You are the single most prepared person of the entire group. The most valuable contribution you make to our team is your preparedness and organizational skills. You always have two of everything just in case a team member needs something. On the day you and I went to Beckville, I had completely forgotten the sign in log for the COTA to sign and the next thing I knew you had whipped out a sign in log for me. You set a great example of how to be prepared and being on a team with you makes me want to be more prepared and organized. 2) What is the single most important way this person could alter
My mother is a Collections Director of the American Red Cross. She is the leader of over 300 employees across four states. She makes sure that they collect sufficient blood to keep the blood inventories at a level to meet hospital and patient needs. My mom has been in the top ten percent of the American Red Cross top leaders, for the past three years. My mother was promoted to Collections Director to clean up and organize that area, she is better at keeping things in check. My mother is confident in herself, she stands tall with her shoulders back and has a loud and clear speaking voice, and she always knows what she is speaking about. She is also responsible; she is always working; at home, the office, even in the car, if she is not driving.
A team is a type of organizational group with independent members. They share common goals and work together to meet these goals (Northouse, 2016). The organization where I work has teams at various levels for maximizing the success. These teams include, core teams, coordinating teams, patient aligned care team (PACT), contingency teams, ancillary teams, support and administration teams (Veterans Health Administration [VHA], 2015). Some of these teams have interdepartmental members while others have intradepartmental staff. Successful teams have a concrete blueprint and that contributes to their effective functioning. There are several factors that affect these teams irrespective of the level. The factors comprise the presence of a clear task, separation from non-team members, authority, and stability. The factors like working conditions, team process and bridging the gaps are concerns for the executive level. The complexity of the task, individual skills and their diverse specializations affect the selection of the team members. The team’s meaningful interactions decide their success. Independent teams can help promote friendly competition within the organization and lead to better staff performance. An efficient leader can design and launch an effective team through careful planning and selection of the right members. He/she keeps the factors that affect the success of the team in mind when designing the teams. The patient care units

Tell me about your current team. What are your team members’roles and how do they work together?
In my Junior year, my nickname on the lacrosse team was mom, for a variety of reasons, I drove a minivan and often found myself driving 8 of my teammates around, I gave advice to other players all the time, and I was the oldest person on the team.
Reflecting on experience is an important capability for an individual to be able to move forward. As (SOURCE) said, “(CONTEXT”). Moreover, individuals ought to be able to work not only individually, but also to work together in a group. Working with other people, especially whom you have not known is not as easy as it seems. In fact, it is quite difficult to develop an effective team. Through this reflection essay on the group presentation that I did last Monday, I have become more aware of useful strategies to deal with issues and understand what could be improved for future presentations. Developing teamwork skills is am important benefit for me as future professional workers.

Jess Ras impacted my softball journey tremendously. Not only did she help me with softball, she helped me be a better person. She helped me overcome hardships that I had outside of softball. She possess many positive qualities also. She is caring, successful and strong just like Everdeen and Tubman. I see Jess as caring because even though she isn't my coach anymore she manages to keep in touch with me to make sure all is well. She likes hearing how I am doing and I value the fact that she is still interested in not only my softball career but how my life is overall. Being caring isn't the only quality that she has. Jess Ras is also very successful. She went to college at East Stroudsburg and successfully pitched for her team. She now holds pitching lessons for young athletes, like me! Along with holding pitching lessons, she also teaches at Wyoming Valley West. Her last quality that she possess is my favorite quality. She is not only physically strong but she is mentally strong. She battled Leukemia in 2013, and if no one ever told me, I would've never guessed. Throughout her battle with cancer, she remained positive and strong. She is a fighter. She is truly the best role model that I have been lucky to have be part of my life. She is always positive and happy no matter what life throws her way. When I am around Jess Ras there is never a moment that we are not laughing or smiling about
Another motivation technique he used was inspiration. He saw the goal that he wanted to achieve and he went out and got it. He did not pick the most talented players, but he picked the ones he knew would come together and do great things. A good example of this is with the goalie. He picked a backup goalie and believed in him. This goalie became great and was a major part of the successes the team had. Herb continued to tell his team that they had so much potential and it did not matter if the Soviets were better and had more experience. He was able to inspire the team to buy in to his methods and achieve greatness. At first I did not understand why Herb did not pick the best of the best, but now I realize that he did not do this because the team would not have meshed very well. He knew the strength of these players and believed in them. As a
The selection of a team leader is of key decision that can have a great impact on the overall success of a team. A good team leader should be able to build and maintain team morale, instilling confidence and trusting in other team members allowing them to work together to achieve the teams goals (Llopis, 2014). The ability to understand the stages of a team and provide the guidance to all members is essential. The stages of forming, storming, norming, performing and adjourning (Abudi, 2010) are a helpful framework for recognizing patterns during team conversations and the understanding that team development may not always be linear. The aptitude to walk the team through these stages and ensuring they understand the development of the team and why things are happening in certain ways is an important part of the self evaluation process. Having ways to identify when certain behavioral patterns are occurring and a way to then cause changes to the team behavior can help the team maximize its productivity.
Jenn Johnson, my mother is a sweet lady who can handle just about anything. She has one child who according to her changed her life. Jenn has been through the wringer and comes out so much stronger than before, with running away, being the black sheep of the family and told she wasn't supposed to have children. She is certainly someone to look up to.
We were lucky to see Captain Jeff Kuss and his team - The Us Navy Blue Angels performed at the Lynchburg airshow on May 21, 2016. That was the best airshow ever and my husband took some great pictures. Among those were the Blue Angel # 6. Few days ago, we learned of Capt. Kuss's passing. Thanks You and Rest in Peace Angel # 6.
