Trophy hunting, by definition, is the selective hunting of wild game. People from all around the world have been participating in this activity for many years with many animals, some of which are endangered. One benefit of this is that trophy hunting brings lots of money to the economies of poor countries all around the world, and the activity does many more positive things for the world and the species being hunted. Trophy hunting of threatened and endangered animals should be legal. Trophy hunting raises money for endangered species. Trophy hunters pay a lot of money for their experiences, and some of these tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars is usually donated to conservation foundations. When trophy hunting works the way it is meant to, only a few animals are killed and conservation of the rest is benefitted. Since the conservation trumps the killing trophy hunting benefits endangered species when it comes to their conservation. Trophy Hunting benefits the economies of many poor countries. Trophy hunting expeditions are expensive, there is a lot of money to flow back into the economy. Only a few animals are killed, if not only one, with a benefit of tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit the economies of poor countries. This loss is due to many reasons such as clearing of ecosystems for other uses animals have less space to live than they used to. This leads to overcrowded population in certain places and not enough food for animals and therefore starvation as well as many other problems arise. Trophy hunting helps to keep the levels of threatened and endangered animals with overcrowded populations down. Trophy hunters also often target older males who can no longer reproduce or males who have reproduced enough so they don’t hurt the species important contributors when hunting
