It’s happening everywhere, you can see it and you can feel it. You may not feel it day by day, but as years progress you’ll notice the difference. Environmental change, Human factors, Economic effects and Political effects are what are causing our planet to change with our desirable needs. There are many ways to reduce greenhouse gasses that trap heat in our atmosphere. We as a human race are growing at a rate of 251 babies every minute, that’s 361,481 every day and 131,940,565 every year. Food, shelter water and energy are ever so high in demand and we will even go far enough to damage our own natural resources to sustain the new heads. Our environment has changed dramatically over the past 50-100 years. Ice berks in the north and …show more content…
As I said previously that we are growing as a race and demand more and more to sustain us. We are destroying our and slowly by Taking down forests illegally and legally the most harm is done by the one legally destruction of forests. Also, we blow up and remove mountains to take natural resources. Leaving behind a destructive land where before animals and forests thrived. We drill offshore in our oceans to suck oil out, but most of the time these procedures are very dangerous and deadly. There are many cases that there are leaks on the oil rig and the wild life is dramatically affected by it. Such as the Gulf of Mexico oil spill in 2010 where more than 200 million gallons of crude oil was spilled and it affected 16,000 miles of coastline. More than 8000 animals were reported to dead after 6 months of the oil spill. As humans we can reduce our fossil fuel emissions dramatically by finding alternative fuels. One way to change use of oil for our cars is to use hydrogen or electricity. I think in the near future electricity will be a cheaper resource since we are using wind, solar panel and sunlight to provide energy. If every home had solor panels on the roof they would dramatically save allot of energy. Plus solor energy is a win win situation since you will only pay for the maintains and not fot he actual energy crated. Also, if every care had solar powered air condition that will dramatically increase your mile per gallon (or kilometer per
The world is changing, well the environment is. For many years mankind has been finding ways to make Earth easier and liveable, therefore, we have been cutting down various trees, building houses and industries to make Earth more adaptable for humankind. These mass productions are polluting our environment due to the fact that carbon dioxide is being released to the atmosphere. The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has had a very distructive consequence,Global warming.Global warming started around the 1880’s around 40 years after the Industrial Revolution in America. As a consequence of global warming the climate change on the Earth has had lethal impacts.Humankind has came up with ways to help control the amount of
Environmental scanning can be viewed as a way of acquiring information about outside events that can aid organizations in first identifying potential trends, then interpreting them
Glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, forests are drying and wildlife is suffering, these are all results of the apparent rise in global temperatures and it has become more
Getting CFL bulbs can save you over $40 a year rather than keeping your regular incandescent lights. Purchasing water conserving showerheads and toilets can also help not only by cutting emissions, but it will save you money too! When building or purchasing a house, be sure that the insulation in it isn't bad. It needs to be good and reliable. This saves on energy and your money as well. Widows are important too. These are just a few out of the hundreds of ways that you can help. So when people think that they can't help, or have no authority when it comes to reducing the amount of carbon dioxide you use, each person can help. If every person took this serious and pulled their share, maybe the carbon dioxide emissions wouldn't be as high and maybe our oceans wouldn't have to suffer.
NGS integrates greenhouse into other major policy initiatives, such as the Natural Heritage Trust, and launches new measures to increase greenhouse emission reduction activities across the Australian community. It provides the strategic framework for an effective greenhouse response and for meeting current and future international commitments. It will provide a fresh impetus for action by governments, stakeholder groups and the broader community and set directions for that action into the next century.
The greenhouse gases produced by the manufacturers, factories, and vehicles all around the world is still very high. And it is not helping our atmosphere. We still trap tons and tons of heat inside this planet and it is causing major changes in different parts of the world. It is melting the ice and causing extremities in weathers. Some people and other species cannot and will not survive in this cycle if this still goes on. An alternative solution? Well there is a lot that we can name. We can stop using fossil fuels such as oils and coals. These are nonrenewable resources. We are going to run out of them soon enough if we keep on relying on them. And if we do run out, then countries will have to wage wars since they are going to fight over those resources. It is as if they are wolves trying to survive in the wild by fighting over a single sheep meat. When there is many still many alternative meat to eat. One great alternative to getting convert into electricity is solar energy. Solar energy is a renewable source since it is an energy acquire with the presence of the sun. This energy also works without the presence of the sun if the energy is stored in a battery for use in the evening. Rural side of California, such as Merced, uses this
Human Impact on the Environment I. Human Population and Industrialization A. By-products of industrialization 1. Industrialization is driven by energy consumption from coal, petroleum, and natural gas a. Fossil fuels were formed by decomposition and pressure on remains of plants and animals millions of years ago b. Oil is the fuel most widely used, both as starting material for making gasoline and for other products 2. Pollution is any environmental change that adversely affects the lives and health of living things a.
The issue: We’re eating the planet. All of us - and not in the fun, culinary sense of exploring international cuisine. The amount of food Americans eat exceeds the amount they actually need. Our food choices are high in calories, high in fat, high in sugar, high in resource and energy input, high in everything. The average American eats 258 lbs. of meat every year. That’s roughly 1/10 of a cow, half a pig, one turkey, and 26 chickens. Maybe this doesn’t sound that much to you – but it is 30 times more meat than the average Indian consumes yearly.
to be grown trees have to be cut down and I have explained the effects
People can save energy without having to pay a great deal, in doing so the emission of power from power stations would be able to reduce by half. By doing these simple things the amount of fossil
Environmental problems are something which belongs to nature or known as “Mother Earth” [13]. Nature was created to help people survive from gathering foods until build a house. This phenomenon happens continuously without thinking how much damage that nature has because human’s fault. Nature gradually becomes worse and animal’s life in danger. People who are aware of the importance of nature react. Those people do several ways to save the environment. Although these efforts can return back the environment, these efforts only can be hold temporarily. This problem happens because those people who are aware of the environment only slightly; for remaining, there are people either do not know or do not care about the nature. People’s efforts
U.S. Conditions like Florida and other states with a high range of hot spells are perfect
According to Mintzberg, the environmental school of thought is a strategy dealing with the forces outside the organization. Unlike the other schools in his book, Strategy Safari, the environment plays a central role in the strategy formation process alongside leadership and the organization where the organization becomes subordinate to the external environment. The environmental school assumptions are that during the formative period of the organization the company shapes itself in response to the environment, but after that period is increasingly unable to respond to the environment. Moreover, the organization long term survival depends on the early choices made during its formative period. Over time, Mintzberg states, leadership becomes
In the United States, we consume more energy from oil than from any other energy source. In 2014 the total amount of petroleum consumed in the United States was about 19 million barrels per day. As we look into making the world a more eco friendly environment, I ask the question; what are some alternatives of oil and the effects of the alternative.
The Earth is a dynamic, constantly changing environment in which the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere all interact. When one changes slightly the change is then felt through out the spheres. Humans need to understand that the change they cause can have a potential for a disastrous affect on the environment. From injecting the atmosphere with greenhouse gas, or deforestation, all the unnatural things done to the environment will have an unnatural affect that will have to be dealt with. We as humans have a moral responsibility to reduce global warming gasses by changing our modes of transportation, to stop deforestation, and increase government funding into research to inhibit global warming for
