"When you know yourself you are empowered. When you accept yourself you are invincible. " -Tina Lifford I think that knowing myself is important on a professional and personal level. It is important on a professional level, because I am able to know what my boundaries are and what I am comfortable with. It also helps me put myself in positions where I can use my talents and skills to their fullest capacity, and ultimately allows me to serve to the best of my ability. When it comes to the personal level, it helps me feel empowered and confident in who I am as a person. It gives me the courage to then accept myself; the good and the bad. I have spent quite a bit of time trying to figure this out, and, to be honest, I am not sure I have gotten it down. Nevertheless, I have realized that I can be a complex person and there are aspects such as my strengths, weaknesses, career interests and challenges, and how I deal with them, that has contributed to who I am. My Strengths One of my biggest strengths would be my love and interest in people. I have always wanted to be in a profession that involved helping people in one way or another. I value the relationships that I have and enjoy forming new ones. I think that human interactions are important for me because I can always learn something for them. Sometimes people can have good advice that stem from their own experiences, or sometimes they just know things that you might not have thought
In addition to my personal challenges my personal strengths interfer. A personal strength I have is talking , I love sharing my opinion. Another personal strength I have is giving good advice because I love helping people solve their problem or help make their lives easier. Lastly another personal strength I have is just listening because I am a good person to vent to because I don’t judge. Therefore I always spread positivity and lean a hand.
My favorite quote is “tough times don’t last, tough people do.” Everyone has mountains they must be able to climb over throughout their life. As long as you don’t let these mountains defeat you, you will make it through the hard times and you will come out even stronger than you were before.
My strengths are being reliable, independent, hard working, and a good communicator. I’m reliable because I am someone is always there for there for other people. I am also very dedicated and dependable. I am independent because I don’t like to rely on other people. I try manage everything I can by myself. I m hard working because am devoted and determined to follow though with, and try to do my absolute best at everything I do. I am willing what is expected of asked of me. I am a good communicator because I listen to other peoples thoughts. Also I am confident in myself and use good body language. I am open minded because I will always think about or consider other peoples ideas.
My strengths are my self-confidence, determination, organization, and ability to prioritize. Balancing an overloaded school schedule, upwards of 24 credits in a semester, maintaining excellent grades, raising a toddler, and volunteering are demonstrative of my greater fortes. In terms of weaknesses, public speaking has always been difficult for me, as well as networking. I have branched outside of my comfort zone, engaged in volunteer opportunities, student organizations, and clubs as an effort to improve upon this.
One method one can know things about themselves is through the senses. One can see and feel that one has two arms, two eyes, a nose, a mouth, etc. One can also hear oneself when talking and smell oneself after a workout. If someone really wanted to, one could even taste themselves. One can also feel pain when one breaks a bone or when one is heartbroken. Similarly one can know love and hate, happiness and sadness, and hope and disbelief. Another method one can know things about themselves is through skill knowledge. For example, one can say that one knows how to play an instrument. One can and should know things about oneself in order to have individualism and prove to oneself that one is
There are strengths that I have yet to discover or recognized within myself. But, If I were to select only five strengths that I have recognized within myself, they would be: my strength of intuitiveness, the power of being a good listener, my willpower, the extreme organizational skills, and open-mindedness. All of the strengths depend on each other to thrive
I think that one of my best strengths is that I can get along with people. Going to a large high school has led me to become the mediator in a number of situations and I learned how to make people feel better and prevent future conflicts. This is a very important skill to have in the community due to the fact that most of my life is in the presence of other
My five strengths that strengthsquest gave me is Input, Connectedness, Relator, Futuristic, and Responsibility. Each of these strengths definitely describe me and how I look at my life. I have worked in retail and customer service for the past four years and I use each of my strengths while working with the customers.
For example, my dream career is to be a pediatrician and if I want to be a pediatrician I have to be patient, generous, and loyal to my patients because if I am not patient and if I do not listen to them there might be a conflict. Dependable is one of the most important strengths out of all my strengths that my brother has mentioned. The reason why I think dependable is an important strength is because if you are going apply for anything the first thing that I will look in a person is if they are dependable and will successfully do their career without chaos. The skills that are embodied within me that my brother mentioned are quick learner, organized, active listener and leadership. These skills are beneficial towards me in many ways. For example active listening, organized, leader and quick learner will help me in any field I decide to go in and even in my daily life. Organization is one key skill that will help anyone in any field, they go in from a mechanic to a lawyer it doesn’t matter without organization skills everyday of your career life will be in

My current strengths include; my honesty and passion towards my work. I have always been positive and confident regarding my aims and targets. Along with these, I am a good decision maker, due to which I can make right and quick decisions. Moreover, I have ability to motivate others and do team work. I am also a responsible person, when I make a target; I work day and night to achieve my goal.
Trying to decide what your personal strengths are, is hard. For myself, I have grown in my strengths, and I’ve experienced my weaknesses. My personal strengths consist of: positivity, encouragement, laughter, and love. I pick these four because I feel that I am truly strongest in these aspects of my life. Being positive is a big factor in everything I do. I always want to be happy and joyful; not only to display Christ in me, but to make others feel the way I do. I want others to appreciate life and to feel any kind of uplift in his or her spirt. Positivity plays into encouragement. I make it my goal to make others feel better about themselves. My goal coming into college was to learn and know every person(s) name that I got the chance to meet. Just taking a few minutes out of your day to truly get to know someone, is such a blessing. It not only blesses me in new friendships, but it also blesses others because they feel that someone genuinely cares about them. Laughter is another characteristic I strive to pour out onto others. I laugh at practically everything. I love to laugh, and I love to make people laugh. I’ve learned the importance of laughter, and I just want to make one person smile every day. Love is my last of the four attributes. Love is so important to me. I love creation (Trees, birds, squirrels), God, and I love people. I just want the love that God has given me, to pour out onto others. I want others to know that I love them. These are my personal strengths
One of my greatest strengths at work that I have recognized would have to be my ability to be a well-organized individual. I tend to write what I have to do down on paper and prioritize what is more important to least important. In doing this, it helps me organize and accomplish my work and meet deadlines that are important. A personal strength
