White people don’t have any reason to bring down the black people. Because black people bring down their self. From killing, fighting, stealing just any and everything. All the white people do is just sit back and watch the ignorant black people do foolish things. Knowing black people we always have to blame it on somebody though. When you turn on the news all you see is black on black crime, people fighting, brawls and everything else. But then as soon as a white person murders a black person they want the white person to be sentenced to life. It don’t make since to sentence someone to life when the black people don’t even respect their own race. But also when a black person does murder a white person they get a lot of time in prison. In
Did you know that unarmed black men are seven times more likely to die than white men? Racism is as old as human society itself. As long as human beings have been around, people have always seemed to have hated or feared people with a different skin color. Racism is just a part of the human nature. Trayvon Benjamin Martin was just 17 when he was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain, in Sanford, Florida on February 2012. The murder of Trayvon Martin affected many people. The death of Martin was just the first of several deaths where a white person killed a black innocent person. Since the deaths weren’t stopping the #BlackLivesMatter movement began.
jim crowAlthough Media reports that blacks commit most of the violent crimes, the center that collects and research statistics shows in fact that black on black murder crimes has decreased significantly since the early 90 's and is in fact by great numbers below whites when it comes down to violent crimes being committed. The whole black on black crime is a political strategy, a gimmick and propaganda used by the Illuminati/Bohemian Media elites to control people thoughts using media mind control. Most people, whether White, Black, Asian and Latino all have an idea, a mindset of who a criminal is and usually always the stereotypes of a criminal is associated to Black People. In America, Black people are 30-40% more likely to be exploited by the New World Order Society through a wide range of media outlets;commercials, movies, shows, reality shows, and music internationally. The
Because white people want black people to return to slavery or at least not attain the same rights as them, they are looking to create wrong allegations and treat black people badly.
There is still some racism from whites to blacks, but things are beginning to make a turn and some blacks are now beginning to be very racist toward whites. Some African Americans call whites “crackers,” “white privilege,” and other things due to their white race. But, no outrage or protests occur after they say these things and few people even know about the statements because the media will not cover them (Backer, 2015). This proves a double standard in today’s society. Backer states, “When a white man/woman uses racist language towards another race, they get ridiculed for it and very rightfully so. On the other hand, when a minority uses racist language towards any other racial groups, no one seems to care,” (2015). Blacks can say whatever they want about whites with little fear of criticism or backlash, but whites are not allowed to make fun of or criticize black people (Peterson 2015). According to Jesse Peterson, if a white person dares to speak the truth about blacks, he or she will be labeled “racist” and immediately shut down
Even in 2015, there are still clear signs of not only racism but white privilege as well. African Americans are killed every single day yet people still believe this isn’t a racial issue. If a white person were to be killed by a black police officer in “self-defence” there would be total pandemonium. There’s many cases where a white police officer/person was able to get off on murder when the victim was black. Tamir Rice, Sandra Bland, Mike Brown, and Sam Dubose are prime examples of police brutality. There was even a hashtag that was started to raise awareness on these issues. The hashtag “#BLACKLIVESMATTER” is definitely more informative than news stations today. News stations are always able to twist the story to benefit the white person more. They’ll call mass
"We simply cannot say we live in a country that offers equal justice to all Americans when racial disparities plague the system by which our society imposes the ultimate punishment." (Senator Russ Feingold, 2003). It has been proven that death sentencing across the USA is determined by the race of the victim and race of the defendant. In 1990, there was a report from the General Accounting office which concluded that those who murdered whites were more likely to be sentenced to death than those who murdered blacks. (Focus, 2003) This injustice amongst us are because people are scared and don’t know. They don’t know whether a black man is pulling out a gun, their phone, wallet, etc. So just to remain safe, they retaliate by killing our men. Society has grown to function on the fear of black men. Capitalism and the imprisonment of black people have become profitable. They’ve made a big business to just imprison black men. Black men are inheritably a threat to the capitalist structure of America, it protects their money, their politics, and their society.
"Although a White guy going on a mass shooting is made such a big event because it happens so rarely. Blacks commit mass shootings everyday in every major US city.” This is a section from an article in the Los Angeles Times. No one likes to see hate crimes like this. In my opinion, it stirs up hate in ourselves, a desire to strike back with a fatal blow to whomever is shaming our pride and honor. We want to feel justified, so we make hasty conclusions to cover our
This is another example of how the dominant (white) society trivialized and often dismisses the historical oppression of black people.
Crimes are committed every day, and convictions are processed every week. Racism is played into account when dealing with the law; therefore, many civilians are prosecuted depending on the color of their skin. Brock Turner is your average middle-class, white male who attended Stanford University with a scholarship for being a swimmer. This teen was accused of sexual assault, and his charges were very minor. This case lead to a whole deal of controversy throughout media because any other minority man who would have committed this crime would have faced up to ten or plus years in jail. Brock Turner has only received a couple months of jail time, and he was let off with a warning. There are
Recently I saw a post online, that really opened my eyes and made me think, The post was speaking about racial bias in the media, The post talks about how the media portrayed Nikolas Cruz the recent mass school shooter as a kid with a mental illness. But it also showed how when the news speaks about african american shooters in the media they never give them a second look or give them any consideration they are automatically seen as “thugs” Is this an example of how African american suspects are treated differently than white suspects? I think so. Why does the media portray white suspects in a better light than African American suspects? Could this show how our world and society is stuck in a racist way of thinking and living?. Another example of how African American suspects are treated unfairly and differently than white suspects is the recent news story of Stephon Clark. In this news story it talks about , Stephon Clark who was an unarmed black man. Who was shot eight times by police officers in his backyard. Only because the police officers were suspicious that he was doing something wrong. When, he didn't do anything wrong at all. Yet, the police officers still took his life away. How is this fair? If we compare this story to the recent story of nikolas cruz, how is
The story of Brock Turner and Cory Batey days in trial will get you shocked once you hear it. There was no justice in the matter for Cory Batey a black college athlete who raped an unconscious woman at a party while intoxicated during his days in trial the jury and judge found him guilty of his crime and sentenced him 15 to 25 years in jail. When it comes to Brock Turner who had a similar crime; a college athlete who was intoxicated and raped an unconscious woman behind a dumpster but during his trial days the judge and jury sentenced him 6 months, 3 with good behavior. This is a prime example of how your race affects your sentencing in court. During their trial waiting Batey apologizes to his victim while turner’s actions doesn't
Grab the remote and take a seat. Put your feet up, and get comfortable. Now, turn on the television. What do you see? One day it is a police officer killing an innocent African American, and the next it is a crazy white man shooting and killing a mass of African American's. Notice a pattern? Every single news channel on television today broadcasts half of the truth. Yes, there are murders occurring. However, there is more to it than meets the eye. The media is racially bias, because they only report news stories where African American's are innocent, not where they are the culprits or killers.
According to John .j. DiIulio Jr, an American political scientist, Black people are more likely to be killed than White people. Why is this the case? Why are black people being targeted? Everybody regardless of our deserve to live a fear free life. young black men and youths should be able to have the opportunity to live a life without fear. Nobody deserve to have their life taken away without fulfilling their purpose on earth. But in today's society, instead of young black kids try to live a momariourable live, they are being chain to what could go
White people killed 4000 American Indians by pushing them through the trail of tears. Not to mention all the murders before the trail of tears. How many black people did white people kill before during and after slavery. White German Soldiers killed 5 million jewish people during the holocaust. So whats you are saying all white people should be shunned and possible
Racism has always been an issue in our society. Throughout history, minorities have been misrepresented in the justice system, especially in cases where the outcome is death. In early American History, blacks were hanged for breaking any informal laws. Back then, killings occurred without any type of dues process. In the 1960s the National Association for the Advancement of African Americans (NAACP) believed that African Americans received the death penalty more frequently than members of other groups. “According to data from Death Penalty Information Center (DPIC), 55% of death row inmates are black or Hispanic”
