Have you ever wondered about shipwrecks? Probably at some point in your life you have. What about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald? It was the worst and fastest shipwreck in Great Lakes history. The sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald has a significant story and a significant history behind it, and it’s unfortunate the ship and her crew members aren’t here today.

In this text i am going to be telling you about who/ what is responsible for the sinking of the Titanic. The sinking of the Titanic was an accident but it could have been prevented. In this next paragraph i am going to be telling you who i think was responsible for it.

Do you know who’s to blame for the Titanic? The Titanic was the largest ship, at the time, and it was also told to be “unsinkable.” The Titanic belonged to The White Star Cross line, along with her sisters, Olympic and Britannic. The Titanic hit the iceberg April 14 and went down April 15th. J.Bruce Ismay is at fault for the sinking of the Titanic. Ismay is at fault because he owned the Titanic, he left the ship, he declined 48 lifeboats.

About a hundred years have passed since the British passenger liner met its fatal end in the North Atlantic on April 15, 1912. The RMS Titanic plummeted two miles to the ocean floor after clashing into an iceberg during its journey to the Port of New York. Over 1,500 people drowned in this unfortunate event. The Steamship, Titanic, was the end-result of fierce competition among competitor shipping lines in the early 1900s. The White Star Line company competed with Cunard, a British company with two ships that ranked in the categories for the most sophisticated and luxurious during their time. One of Cunard’s masterpieces, Lusitania, met its devastating end in 1915 when a torpedo was fired by a German U-boat and sunk the ship. The sinking killed about 1,200 out of 1,959 people on board and was the gateway to the United States’ entry into World War I. We chose this topic to write about because of the overwhelming impact that the event had on American history. The three categories on the Titanic are: the creation of the boat, passengers and luxury on board, and the night of the unfortunate tragedy.

I feel that the history of the Titanic is important because all of the people on the Titanic would either die or they would live and it was their decision. I care about all of the people that were on the Titanic and passed away and I think you should care about them too. Let the sunken be sunk. I think the Titanic is a historic gravesite. It more than likely would collapse while bringing it up. Sea life has adapted to the 100 year old ship. I think the Titanic should be left alone because it is a gravesite. Bringing up the Titanic is disturbing, this is people's resting place. 1,503 people have been disintegrating for about 105 years. Some people would consider it grave-digging, this is where those people were last.

I had sailed on many ships before and I knew what a dangerous interaction normally ended up with...a sunken ship. Have you ever thought about bring the Titanic up? I think the titanic should be left down there. I think it would be disrespectful because it is like a grave site. I believe it would cost a lot because the gas for the machines. I also believe it would collapse because it has been down for over 100 years decaying.

Everyone knows the infamous story of the Titanic and her disastrous maiden voyage. As tragic as it was, it appeared as a relatively straightforward occurrence. The Titanic was sunk and people were trying to find the person who is responsible. I think that the crew and the captain are the ones to blame. Do you want to know why I said that? The crew was part of it because the crew they did not send the last few icebergs warnings and the turned off the radio so that could make a huge difference of the sinking of the titanic. I think also that the captain of the titanic was just dining with someone else rather than working on his job.Aso I think the captain was responsible because in his whole career he never had a problem with any of his previous ship so he have thought that this one would not be a problem with this ship. The titanic could be in a mueseum and let everybody remember it and what happened in 1912. This was the biggest ship in 1912, and over a thousand people died. This ship should go down in history. This is a history telling of the titanic the people that died family's would want that to happen. If they preserve the titanic, it would go down in history.
