Scientists have been able to advance the knowledge of human, animal health, and disease dramatically by conducting tests on model organisms(Yourgenome.org np). Antibiotics, insulin, vaccines, organ transplantation and HIV are treatments that have all been developed with the help of animal testing we can increase someone's life span.The harm that is committed against animals should not be minimized because they are not considered to be human and of lesser value than us. Animal testing has been one of the issues that people are fighting overtime because of its moral. Even though some results of tests are successful on people, many people are still fighting for the animal’s rights. They believe that animals should have their own rights to live a free life where they belong, just like their species. In scientists point of view, animals have been one of the main subjects to test on, but a lot of them are currently looking forward to use and develop alternatives for the cruel act of animal testing.

Most of the procedures we have these days are there because animal testing has helped in developing it. In addition, when new treatments should be developed, there is no safer and more accurate way to prove it harmless than testing with animals. Although there are certain alternatives such as computers, undoubtedly for human rights scientists should choose the assured and guaranteed way of animal testing. Therefore, until a suitable substitution as exact and as precise as testing with animals appear, animal testing shall be mandatory.
