Why Do I Feel High Levels Of Stress?

Stress is the feeling of dread and anticipation that people feel when they are overly busy and find that they do not have enough time to do the activities that they want, and or need, to do. Some people say that they never get stressed out, but that is entirely untrue. Everyone becomes stressed at some point in his or her life for various reasons, they may just react differently to the stress than those around them. Many people, activities, and ideas in the world can cause stress. School and work and self-imposed standards are all common stressors that affect me the most in my day-to-day life. For me, especially this year, I feel stress of all kinds every day. Why do I feel such high levels of stress? I am overwhelmed with both in school and out of school activities and obligations. School is the primary instigator of stress in my life currently, though, only two classes in particular are causing me stress - calculus and Composition I. Calculus (difficult to understand) causes a lot of stress. In calculus, homework is assigned almost every day, but it is not due until the end of the chapter. Therefore, there are advantages and disadvantages to having a final due date for all assignments. It gives me more than enough time to work through the many problems that are assigned, but it also gives me plenty of time to worry and stress. Composition I – it is not as stressful as calculus – is stressful for a different reason. As Composition I is my first college class, I feel as
