The Second Amendment protects an individual's right to own guns ; that guns are needed for self-defense from threats ranging from local criminals to foreign invaders; and that gun ownership deters crime rather that causes more crime. The issue with gun control laws is that people want to add more laws related to gun control because of the recent events happening in schools and public buildings. While many people are for gun control laws, based on information, we should not enact more gun laws because they need to be utilized for self defense and are required for hunting and sports. In fact, in 2011 there were 13.7 million hunters 16 years old or older in the U.S. National shooting sports say, it shows that 13.7 million people have gone through hunter's safety class. In hunter’s safety class, they teach you not only the rules for hunting, but also gun safety and how to handle a gun. In general, The US spent 7.7 billion on guns, sights, ammunition, and other hunting equipment. The US says that the US spends 7.7. Billion dollars on guns, it helps the government create jobs, which allows people to provide for their families. In short, if the government would enact more gun laws, it would prevent Americans from utilizing guns for hunting, sporting events, and the creation of jobs.

As can be seen, While many people are for gun control laws, based on information, we should not enact more gun laws because they need to be utilized for self defense and are required for hunting and sports. People should be able to use gun for self defense. People use guns for lots of things like hunting and sports and if they limit gun laws, people will not be able to go hunting and sports.
