We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude and the veterans deserve to have gratitude from others. The reason why I am grateful for our nation’s veterans is because without them we would not have peace and freedom in our country. Another reason why I am grateful for our nation’s veterans is because they have fought for us to have a good society instead of a corrupted one. After the veterans return from war they don’t change on how the treat people and not expect anything in return and that is why I am grateful. The nation’s veterans deserve to be celebrated and commemorated for their efforts and sacrifices. If it wasn’t for our nation’s veterans, we would be living in a place with no rights and no unity. I am so indebted for the way they protect our nation because the veterans don’t expect people to give them gifts or anything. I am so grateful for our nation’s veterans because they aren’t selfish like other people who expect things from others just. I am so grateful for our veterans because even though they return from war, they stay the same heroic person. I am grateful for our nation’s veterans because they aren’t selfish and cold hearted people, but instead care and have dignity within themselves. Our nation’s veterans deserve more gratitude than what they are getting today because all they get is a thanks for their service instead of a ceremony. I am thankful for our nation’s veterans because they have been in battle for our rights and privilege. I am thankful for our nation’s veterans because they sacrifice their lives for our society. I am thankful for our nation’s veterans because they expect nothing and treats others the same. Overall, they are the ones who will be there to sustain our liberation and unity to time and time
America gave my generation Freedom and the right to vote. My generation should respect the veterans more and we should be thankful for our freedom. My generation should respect the veterans more because the fought for the rights we have today we should be thankful, we should not take granit for it. Another thing is that they fought and they lost their brother and they fought on even though they were mourning on their loss. The last thing is why should you disrespect your veterans without them we would not have the rights we have today.
We honor our veterans because every day they put their lives on the line to protect our country; to preserve the freedom of this great land. Without question, without hesitation, these brave people come forth every day to help defend the 350 million people
Those who are veterans are those who fought in the wars and those who leaded the troops. Today we honor those who are no longer with us and those who are. We honor them because they fought and saved us from rivalries that were careless about us but our veterans stood up for us until we were safe. If you read history books about the american war you might’ve found that some men were under a lot of stress while training. But the thing that makes them special is they were the brave ones, some men didn’t meet the standards required but some men started training lifting those weights to meet those standards and try again. There are wise and caring people in the world and some times you may have to look for them because they are out
Our nation past was, well, not always perfect. Without some of our veterans, our country wouldn’t be as free as it is. Veterans continue to make our country a free country, which also makes it a better place to live in. Veterans stood up for our country; whether the ones forced to go during the draft, or the ones who voluntarily go. Whether the cause, they were always ready to go and fight for the people’s freedom. We really do see how great these people are, I mean, they risked their life for ours to be
As a nation, we need to be thankful for our veterans. The men and women who join the military undergo nine weeks, or more, of boot camp. That right there is said to be the most laborious nine weeks of anyone’s life. Drill sergeants break them down both emotionally and physically, so they can improve upon them and make them stronger. Those are the people we should be thanking, the ones who fight to preserve our country’s freedom, equality, and the pursuit of happiness. Those are the fundamentals of our Constitution that those people fight to protect. However, after their service, it doesn’t seem like people know that.
Veterans put their life on the line to help defend our country because it’s something they feel they need to do. They are very inspiring people. Most people don’t have the courage to go to war. The men and women who are so courageous are once in a lifetime people who have amazing stories to tell. Our freedom would not exist if it weren’t for veterans.
Veterans sacrificed their lives for us. A lot of those soldiers never thought they would have to actually go out and hurt someone. Throughout the battle a lot of people were really bad hurt and a lot did not make it. A lot gave there arms, and legs for us. They didn’t run away they stood their ground and gave their lives for us. The ones that got hurt or had scars will be the ones you can tell that never ran. Those are the ones that mabey saw others run, but stayed with tears but keep going. For these reasons, we should always be respectful and be glad they did it for us.
Not many people would withstand having to go off to war knowing their life was on the line. There is much respect and gratitude inclined towards those who did and sacrificed everything they had. Our cordially veterans - the ones who fought and endured the bestial wars, the ones who knew they could fall at any moment, the ones who, despite the horror and fear
The men and women who helped shape the face of this country through their honor, legacy, and patriotism are those we call veterans. They are our dads, moms, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters; they are our family. Yet, we constantly overlook their desire and passion for this country. The gratitude that they deserve is not shown towards them, as it should be. I thank all veterans for their
It is important to remember how much of daily life is affected by the work of veterans. Walking on streets, going to school, eating at restaurants, and hanging out with friends all depend on the service of veterans. They may not receive the proper amount of recognition from the younger generations, but their work is appreciated. In actuality, they gained vital information that can be shared with the future generations. They have gained respect and honor for their duty for our
Thank you for serving. I can not tell how glad I am that you served in either the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, or the Coast Guard. From any of the wars, WWI,WWII,The Korean War, Persian Gulf War, The War On Terrorism (Afghanistan), the Iraq War, and the Texas Revolution. Thank you for serving. I cannot say how thankful I am that you made the ultimate sacrifice. I have no idea what you have been through in war. I am so grateful that you fought so we could celebrate veterans day, memorial day and all other holidays that only the U.S celebrates.
All military veterans make sacrifices, and fight courageously for our freedom. They protect our beloved county from disastrous peril. Veterans are one of the only reasons that we are safe, allowed to do what we want, and have free agency. They deserve to be honored and respected as amazing people who put aside everything for the country’s needs.
“A Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life. Regardless of personal political views, that is an honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact.”

America is like a team and that gift is a successful team. There are leaders in America and followers in America. The Veterans are like the leaders in America. The rest of the people are followers. The gift to my generation is that the success, confident, courage, and hope. The Veterans hold the team together and keep them concentrated and focused on what there suppose to be doing. If we didn’t have leaders in the world we would fall apart and the world would be
