Veterans Are America's Heroes

America gave my generation Freedom and the right to vote. My generation should respect the veterans more and we should be thankful for our freedom. My generation should respect the veterans more because the fought for the rights we have today we should be thankful, we should not take granit for it. Another thing is that they fought and they lost their brother and they fought on even though they were mourning on their loss. The last thing is why should you disrespect your veterans without them we would not have the rights we have today.

We honor our veterans because every day they put their lives on the line to protect our country; to preserve the freedom of this great land. Without question, without hesitation, these brave people come forth every day to help defend the 350 million people

On July 28th, 1914, the first war was brought to our world. All because of an assassination. At this time, we thought the only resolution was war and that war would save us. Among the years, we have bounced between different war periods and times where people just want peace. There is a time that we need to fight for our rights and stand up, but there is also a time where we need to stand down and just deal with what is going on. Because of our veterans, most of the world has been living in peace because our soldiers fight the wars for us and there is so much thanks in the world for that. It is so very wrong that there are veterans out there that are homeless or are even struggling to get food. Veterans are important because they have given us our freedom from tyrants for the past 237 years. Vets fought against the oppressors from of England during the War of Independence and the War of 1812. They continue to fight today! The estimated amount of casualties from the War of Independence was around 50,000! That means over 50,000 people died to stop England’s tyranny, in just one of two wars! In attacking Americans in the War of 1812, England sent ten times as many troops in just the last six months, than they had during all the years before. Those who are veterans are those who fought in the wars and those who leaded the troops. Today we honor those who are no longer with us and those who are. We honor them because they fought and saved us from rivalries that were careless about us but our veterans stood up for us until we were safe. If you read history books about the american war you might’ve found that some men were under a lot of stress while training. As a nation, we need to be thankful for our veterans. The men and women who join the military undergo nine weeks, or more, of boot camp. That right there is said to be the most laborious nine weeks of anyone’s life. Drill sergeants break them down both emotionally and physically, so they can improve upon them and make them stronger. Those are the people we should be thanking, the ones who fight to preserve our country’s freedom, equality, and the pursuit of happiness. Those are the fundamentals of our Constitution that those people fight to protect. However, after their service, it doesn’t seem like people know that.

Veterans put their life on the line to help defend our country because it’s something they feel they need to do. They are very inspiring people. Most people don’t have the courage to go to war. The men and women who are so courageous are once in a lifetime people who have amazing stories to tell. Our freedom would not exist if it weren’t for veterans.

Throughout US history, many wars and battles were fought that marked America. Fighting within those wars were brave soldiers, which to this day, we know as veterans. Veterans are important to our nation's history and future, as they have contributed to make America the great and prosperous nation that it is today. Veterans, along with other respected groups of people, deserve the nation's uttermost respect for all the contributions they have made to this country known as America.

    It is important to remember how much of daily life is affected by the work of veterans. Walking on streets, going to school, eating at restaurants, and hanging out with friends all depend on the service of veterans. They may not receive the proper amount of recognition from the younger generations, but their work is appreciated. People often say that freedom is not free and that price has been paid by countless brave individuals. These brave individuals are known as veterans. Veterans should be remembered, respected and honored because of their sacrifices, courage, and patriotism.

All military veterans make sacrifices, and fight courageously for our freedom. They protect our beloved county from disastrous peril. Veterans are one of the only reasons that we are safe, allowed to do what we want, and have free agency. They deserve to be honored and respected as amazing people who put aside everything for the country’s needs.

Veterans are brave to have even thought of going out to war. Bravery is one if the main things to have in order to do something so terrifying. I am so glad that there are people willing to miss out on quite a bit to fight for the country.

Veterans may not have the superpowers see on tv such as flying, super speed, or super strength, but they have bravery. Their brave for standing up for their country,. For trying to protect people who may not deserve it, for trying to keep our country from falling off the earth, for keeping us up. Their the ones that hold us up from sinking under. From sinking like a submarine to the bottom of the ocean floor. Veterans are heroes. Their my hero. Since they are brave I want to be brave also and stand up for my country. Theyŕe role models. If kids have a favorite super hero they look up to them and what they do. Imagine if every kid looked up to a veteran. We all would stand tall and defend our country. Veterans risked their lives to make my generation feel safe. Veterans gave my generation the gift of freedom. Three ways that my generation benefits from this freedom are through getting an education, freedom of speech and safety.
