NJIT is a prior choice of mine to attend. New Jersey Institute of Technology appeals me the most for the programs, classes, and aides they offer to the students. Attending the open-house for the first time I had no regrets at all, instead it was spectacular. The environment and atmosphere there truly grand. From this exposure NJIT is a top choice for it truly gave me goal and for what I can give as a pupil. My gifts and talents will be put into a great aspect in class and as a student for
I really think that I am very qualified for National Junior Honor Society. I have seen students of NJHS making things for the community and I always join or support them because I think that helping others is a need, not an option. I like helping people, I like taking leadership and I would like to encourage others to change the world, that’s why I think that I am eligible for NJHS.
It feels like everyday I meet people who ask me what college I want to attend. I give them the usual list of colleges I wish to apply to, but when Hofstra University comes up, people ask me, “why do you want to apply to Hofstra University?” I say there are infinite reasons why I wish to go to Hofstra. The number one reason being that it is really close to home. Hofstra is an excellent school - one of the best schools in New York. Hofstra has over a 100 distinct majors and minors to choose from ranging from Biology to Engineering to American Studies. I plan to major in Biology, and Hofstra is the best for my major because it has resources to offer its students giving them hands on experiences. Being an AP student, I love to take arduous classes
I have fallen in love with UNCW after first-hand seeing it for myself last summer. I know a lot of alumni from UNCW and have heard nothing but positive things about the school, teachers, and its courses. I am interested in majoring marketing or business and UNCW excels in both of these areas for me. In addition, it provides many courses that assist me in meeting my goals for my career. I would love to attend UNCW because it is close to my hometown but also far enough to where I can be an independent. Not only do I believe the University of North Carolina Wilmington is the right fit for me and my future career but also has every aspect that I am looking for in a college. It has the perfect location, the perfect size, very affordable, and the
To conclude with, I want to say that this school is highly rated. It is also one of the top high schools in Jersey City. The quality of learning is awesome, there are many different courses, and it is hopefully going to bring me even closer to the most important goal in life for me.Go figure it is the best and who would not want to join. I wish I am one of those people who will be a freshmen next year in this
Luckily, the NJHS is full of hard working and smart people that I feel like being around would help me improve myself, but more importantly, to improve others. NJHS will give more opportunities to help serve my
After four years of high school, there is only one goal I have in mind. That goal is to attend college. This is the next big step in my life. All the late nights I stayed up to complete school assignment was for this moment. All my hard work was has lead me to this point in life. College will open a whole new to me. A world where I can meet new people while working to improve my future. Why do I want to attend college though? Well I have three specific reasons for this decision.
Throughout my four years of college, I wanted to learn about myself and the world. I did not want to follow a particular path or be strict with myself. Now, as a graduate I discovered my passion for health and helping people. I want to volunteer at New York Methodist Hospital because I want to learn more about health while getting to help people feel at peace during a difficult time in their life. I am ready to learn and I am ready for a new experience. I want to learn from accomplished individuals and further my knowledge in health for when I decide to go to nursing school. At the age of 5, I had to help my grandma because she could not walk due to arthritis of the spine and knee. At a young age I learned how one person can make a difference
During the project, I was in charge of coordinating over 170 hours of service and I had to lead 22 people. Also, learning through projects helps me to see real world applications of what I am learning and this helps me remember things better. Nesbitt has a unique philosophy that would let me learn about local industry and see how businesses work by allowing me to engage in internships. Nesbitt also would let me take college classes earlier which would benefit me because I have been accelerated in math and will be going into calculus in my freshman year. Also I could explore engineering through the PLTW classes. Engineering has become another interest to me because I have started to see it's real world applications through mountain biking parts and frames. Another reason why I want to go to Nesbitt is that everyone there seems excited and focused on learning.
There are several reasons why I would want to attend Massanutten Regional Governor's School. One would be that the school would expose me to a wide range of people who have their own ways of doing things. Another purpose for attending governor's school would be the classes that this specific school offers. In other words, these are not the average day-to-day classes that most students would take. My third and final motive would be the challenging experience. Doing something that is challenging has never really stopped me in life. It has only made me wanting more, even when I have failed.
Growing up in Jersey City has allowed me to grow up in an environment like this. Jersey City not only allows one to understand other cultures, but also enables us to interact and live with people from a variety of different backgrounds. Rutgers most unique qualities is that it offers a culturally assorted campus. Along with its diversity, another reason why I would like to become a student at Rutgers University under the Criminal Justice program is because I have heard my brother and many other students talk about their classes. I have heard them passionately speak about rebuilding the Criminal Justice Program and their dedication to it is inspiring, which I feel is something I wish to be a part of. I eventually hope to run for a position for the club in the future. With Rutgers being ranked top 10 in the nation, it is among the elite in our country. With the ranking of being in the Top 10, it will help me excel in my education and strive to reaching my
Have you ever seen something so wrong, like someone getting beat or someone getting robbed, and you wanted to do something about it? I’ve seen people steal, I’ve seen people that are beaten, and I’ve always want to do something. Always. There are over 2 million people that are abused each year. Now what if those people were able to call in those people? They wouldn’t be harmed and would be protected. That’s what I want to do, protect the american people. To be able to do this I will have to go to Niacc and get my Criminal Justice Degree, but to be able to do that I will need a scholarship. Because my family doesn’t really have a whole lot of money to put me into college. So a scholarship would be an amazing thing to get. So after I get the scholarship and go to Niacc, I will go to the Police academy. Then it’s off to the work force for me, so I can protect the american people, so I can change how police officers are looked at, and so I can serve justice to the people who deserve it.
New Jersey Institute of Technology has always been my number one choice for school. They offered so much to students such as myself. For example, they have over 100 clubs and a many fraternities. Before I came to NJIT, I attended Bayonne high school in Bayonne, New Jersey. It was an amazing experience, one that I would have no regrets repeating. It’s the largest high school in Bayonne, my graduating class was over 700 students and the school in general has 3000 students. Being so large it had many opportunities that other high schools wouldn’t have. It had a team for every sport that you’ve ever heard of, and 20 additional ones that no one knows about. In addition, Bayonne offered a myriad of AP classes to students who met certain requirements, thus giving many opportunities to high school students to get a taste of college-level classes. So even from before I entered into the campus on the first day NJIT was already different, however, it is not different in a bad way.
At Rutgers, I long to ascertain that a prestigious university will shape me into becoming an exceptional student. Rutgers signifies enforcing competition, it promotes the education I yearn to become
Excellence motivates me to achieve, regardless of hardships and obstructions in my path. I put in effort and hard work to maintain a healthy balance with school, work, and extracurricular activities, so that I can continue to achieve. I have visited Rutgers University several times last year and each time lowered me in more and more. My first visit was to the Rutgers Camden Campus for Open House event. The information received sparked a curiosity inside of me to check out what the other campuses had to offer me. After doing much-needed research on what I really wanted to do with my life and career goals I began to have my eyes set on Rutgers University Newark Campus. I then made sure that I had to make it to the next upcoming Fall Open House to experience this wonderful campus for myself.
I want to go to Mitty for many reason. Some reasons include the energetic and inclusive community, amazing sports, and education programs.
