Good vs Bad: Animal Testing
Genesis 1:26: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Biblically animals should serve man but organizations like (Peta) disagree. Animal testing on ostracized species should be one for medical advances only as human as possible.
First and foremost, medical advances are useful because they can save a human's life. Some people argue that they may have human emotions and it is cruel. Animal rights advocates contend that medical testing projects that use animal are needlessly cruel and old fashioned and can cause their subjects much pain (Mack 44). Animals do feel pain and may not like it. However, it will always be better to test on an animal than to test on a human but they are restrictions. All of god creatures must be treated compassionately and undergo the most effortless pain possible. Doctors that decide to do it the testing is required to have a Ph.D.,

It is not the best solution, but testing theories is an important part of science. It a human environment with a licensed doctor humans could benefit a lot from animal testing. Animal are being used for understanding diseases, but humans need that. However animals lives matter too ("Animal Research"). For example, all licensed doctors and/or scientist should use the “3Rs” Refinement of the total examinations for the animal so the pain is minimal, used the reduction of ostracized and more common species in one study, and replace one’s animal with a non-animal for one’s experiments ("Animal Research"). Another example is newborn monkeys that are taken away from families they are experimented on by getting drilled into their brains to drive them insane
Nowadays, animal testing has become a prevalent way to test medicine and beauty products. Some animals are tested for these products, it still has some issues, when research checks this product by the animal. Accordingly, animal testing is widely a way to test results of new medicines and feedback of cosmetic products. A number of people have started to consider whether it is inhumane to test on animal, however other people believe this is effective for creating new medicine to heal miscellaneous diseases. The essay will discuss some advantages and disadvantages of the animal testing. But, most of new medicines which are created still need testing on animal. Garattiui and Grigusschi (2017) displayed that “Animal testing is still the best way to find new treatments for patients”. The best way of finding new treatments remain is animal in order to patient.
Human Society International has conducted many studies over the years and found that animals used in experiments are force fed , subjected to water dehydration and physical exhaustion, or inflicted them with burns and wounds, using other torturing methods to check that the medicines or anything that companies will sell us
An issue that is hotly debated is about animal testing. It is clear that overall animal testing should not be allowed. It shouldn’t be allowed because animal testing does not even do much to the humans, because it can hurt or kill the animals, and finally because these animals that are being tested aren’t being protected the right way. Even though that other people could say that animals are a great replicate of humans and can develop cures. Also they could say that it helps less people get sick, it kills the animals by the scientists not protecting them. Overall animals shouldn’t be tested on.
Throughout the years the use of animals in medical research has been a hot debate around the world. Although animal testing may be cruel and inhumane, thousands of humans are saved thanks to the research that animals supply researchers with. Animals testing have taken over our knowledge of medicine and treatments to a whole different level. Animal testing also does this in a cheap and effective way. Without animals testing out knowledge wouldn’t be up to date, in other words animals’ testing is good.
the purpose of testing cosmetics, and the effects of vaccinations needing approval from the FDA. Animals are treated as property by pet owners and are maliciously hunted and slaughtered by humans daily.
Do you love animals? Do you think using animals for testing is good? Well scientists and vets test on animals to find a way to cure diseases like cancer in humans. If the tests fail the animal has to die or they will get really ill. They even use cosmetics on animals (they apply makeup on them.) Some countries ban animal testing for cosmetics. Animal testing is torture for animals and should be banned everywhere.
Animal Testing is uncertain and hard. Animals go through a series of tests are very painful, most of the time they are not even given anything for pain. Some product tests require the same painful procedure on a daily basis over a weeks' time. Most tests on animals cause permanent injury or even death. The tests performed on animals are not always reliable. A medicine that may be safe with animals may not be for human beings. For example, aspirin is toxic to cats, so if we were to test this medication on cats, it would not help to determine if this was a safe product for human beings. One alternative to animal testing is human testing, if we are looking to find out if the product works on humans, we should test them on humans. That case "No
Now that we have many new inventions in our world we also have new humane and modern ways to gain research (Peta). Once the testing is finished animals are still held in captivity and not given to a loving family who will treat them like most animals should be treated (Murnanhan). Doctors also do experiments of what would happen in case of an overdose. (Regdirb). Many laboratories have injured animals because of the drugs they test on them, that will then inject the animal with lethal poison (Murnanhan). Animal testing can be very harsh and life threatening to the animals
If rabbits could speak, they would probably tell you to stop supporting many of your favorite companies. Even your most trusted household brands, such as Maybelline, Arm & Hammer, Listerine, and even Lysol contribute to the millions of innocent animals subjected to cruel and wasteful product testing every year. These and many other widely popular brands implement animal testing during the production, modification, and design of their products. This testing is extremely dangerous to animals and in some cases humans as well. In spite of this, products American citizens use on a daily basis come from companies that test their products on animals and the consumers of these products are virtually blind to the evils that lie behind them. Animal testing is immoral and should be abolished because it tortures innocent creatures, is an ineffective method of testing a product, and is far more expensive than the alternatives that exist.
Animal testing is an experimentation performed on animals. Scientists test on animals to assess the how safe and effective a product for humans is, this can be anything from medication, pesticides, industrial chemicals, food additives, household products, supplements, and cosmetics. Animal testing is morally wrong as it involves the torturing of innocent animals. “Right now, millions of mice, rats, rabbits, primates, cats, dogs, and other animals are locked inside cold, barren cages in laboratories across the country. They languish in pain, ache with loneliness, and long to roam free and use their minds. Instead, all they can do is sit and wait in fear of the next terrifying and painful
According to a 2017-18 National Pet Owners Survey conducted by the American Pet Products Association about 85 million families in the United States own a pet. In most homes pets are treated like a member of the family. But what if that family member was legally allowed to be burned, shocked, poisoned, starved, or forced to become addicted to drugs for research? Most people would be heartbroken and outraged! But that is what does happen to the millions of animals that are used in animal testing in the U.S. every year. Animal testing is wrong because it is cruel and inhumane to the animals and because animals make poor test subjects for testing on products or drugs that will be used for humans.
Animal testing has been going on for years; however, few question the ethics of testing medicines that would cure human diseases on animals. Various animals being tested in labs and cruelly force them to be a host of harmful diseases negatively affect their health. Animal testing is cruel and unusual punishment and should discontinue. Animal experimentation is a subject that many know of but don’t know much about. Although it is a big topic, people still don’t pay much attention to it because of their lack of information. Experimenting is a cruel process that causes many innocent animals to suffer. Many cases of violations towards experimenting have been found as well. Testing on animals is unnecessary when laying down the
Every year, ten to one hundred million animals are tested on. Rats and mice were two-thirds of that total. In addition to that there are one hundred and eighty thousand dogs, fifty five thousand cats, five hundred thousand rabbits, a similar number of guinea pigs, and sixty thousand primates. With these numbers why still test on animals? Animal testing needs to stop. It is wrong. These animals are dying from neglect and harsh conditions. Animal testing is not even one hundred percent accurate! People have talked about the pain and the conditions they had lived in during the breeding experiments during World War Two. Again, why is animal testing still a thing?
A quote from an experimenter showed his view on animal testing “Because the animals are like us.” Experimenters were asked why it is ok to test animals the answer would be “Because the animals are not like us.”
Every year, millions of animals suffer through painful and unnecessary tests. Animals in laboratories all over the world live lives of deprivation, pain, isolation, and torture. Even though vast studies show that animal experimentation often lacks validity, leading to harmful human reactions, we still continue to use this method of experimentation, while many other less-expensive and more beneficial alternatives exist. Going beyond the issue of animal experimentation being morally wrong, this form of research is also hindering medical progress. Although the use of animals in laboratories is said to be necessary for the welfare and health of humans, people mistakenly believe that this immoral and unscientific method of experimentation is
