John F. Kennedy had many interesting things happen to him throughout his life, good and bad. John F. Kennedy was the 35th president of the United States and he helped our country become a better place. John F. Kennedy was elected in 1960 and unfortunately got assassinated shortly after he became president in 1963. John F. Kennedy was an amazing president and did many things to improve our country.
John F. Kennedy had a very fascinating life growing up. John grew up in a very rich family. His parents had many different traditions that most families did not have. John had many health problems, and became very sick with scarlet fever. “John grew up in a wealthy and political family in Brookline, Massachusetts” (Nelson). Also, “John was not a very healthy baby, and his mother recorded the childhood diseases from which he suffered, such as: whooping cough, measles, and chickenpox” (The Life of John F. Kennedy). Kennedy is still very famous for many reasons. John got assassinated very early in his presidency. He gave one of the most stirring speeches in history. His Presidency was marked by major events in the cold war. “John F. Kennedy is most famous for being assassinated early in his presidency”. “He is also famous for Bay of Pigs Invasion and the Cuban Missile Crisis”. “ His presidency was marked by major events in the Cold War. These events included the building of the Berlin Wall in Germany by the communists, the Bay of Pigs, and the Cuban Missile Crisis” (Nelson).
