Anti-semitism is prejudice and hostility toward Jewish people. Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who was alive while the Nazi ruler Adolf Hitler was in control of Germany and most of the countries around it. Adolf had anti-semitic views toward Jewish people. He wanted to extinguish the Jewish people from the planet. Anne was forced to hide in a secret annex in her father's office building for two years. She and her family were found and sent to concentration camps. They were all killed except Anne’s father. The world should be exposed to what happened to Anne and her family. The world should know Anne’s story because it teaches a historical lesson, it teaches people to not discriminate against a certain group of people, and it can help stop bullying. …show more content…
Anne had to go into hiding for 2 years because if she did not she would have been killed or taken to a concentration camp. Anne’s story gives first hand account of what people had to go through during the holocaust. Many people had to go through the same thing that Anne had to go through. Anne’s story is a good way to learn about what happened in the holocaust and what actually happened. The Anne Frank story should also be told so it can prevent people from discriminating against people that are different than they are. Adolf Hitler discriminated against Jews just because he did not like them. I think if people will think twice before they discriminate if they heard about Anne’s story. In the movie Anne feels a lot of pain and frustration. She lets out her pain and frustration and I could see it in the movie. Anne’s story could help stop discrimination against
Anne Frank, a name? A book? A girl? A prisoner? Anne was all these things. She lived in a world ruled by the Germans. Adolf Hitler, the ruler of the Nazi Germans ordered for the whole Jew population to be destroyed. He ordered all Jews to be taken from their homes and to be sent to labor or death camps, also known as concentration camps. Once Anne’s family heard of this they went into hiding with four other Jews. After two years of hiding, not being able to go outside, talk or move a lot, or being able to use the W.C. at certain times of the day, the Franks, Vaan Dans, and Mr. Dussel were turned in by a random citizen and were arrested. Before that time Anne had a diary where she wrote her deepest most inner thoughts. She once said, “Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart.” I disagree with Anne’s statement, “Despite everything, I believe people are really good at heart.”
Anne and her family has very hard lives during the Holocaust. They treat you so poorly in the concentration camps. The fact that they hid for a very long time instead of registering, made them prisoners so they were treated even worse.
First of all, Anne Frank is only one of a million Jewish children who died during the slaughter and she represents the lost potential of all the children. However, she is one of the most recognized victims because of her diary. Only a small amount of children persecuted during the catastrophe wrote diaries that have survived. Her diary reflects a varied and complex view of a young girl who lived and died during the mass murder. Her diary is one of the best-written diaries authored by a teenager living and hiding during a catastrophe and details a
Jews have perished because of their beliefs since the beginning of time but never have so many Jews been persecuted worldwide as they were in World War II. Anne Frank’s diary reaches a place within all of our hearts because it reminds us how easily the innocents can suffer. Sometimes we may choose to close our eyes or look the other way when unjustifiable things happen in our society and Anne’s tale reminds us that ignorance, in part, claimed her life. Sadly, her story is but one of many of those who died in the Holocaust and as with other Jews, her fate was determined by the country she lived in, her sex and her age.
The Holocaust, a morbid atrocity that made people question humanity, was the cause of millions of deaths. One of those victims of this brutality was Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl who hid from the Nazis along with her family. Although she was merely ordinary, Anne Frank kept a diary which became a significant, historical artifact in the modern world as it details her account of concealing her identity from the outside world. Her story, told in an innocent perspective, allows individuals to reflect the dreadful events of the Holocaust and acknowledge how far we have come since then. Even though she died along with millions of other victims from the Holocaust, her spirit still exists thanks to her articulately written words in her diary which is now considered one of the most famous works of literature. Anne Frank’s legacy still lives on today because her story provides a primary source of a dark period in history, insightful contemplation of humanity, and motivation for people to stand up against unjustified persecution.
The article, “The Girl Who Lived Forever”, by Kristen Lewis, describes the hardships of Anne Frank, a Jewish girl, and her family, who like millions of other Jews, perished at the hands of the Nazis during WWII. Anne Frank lived during one of the most terrifying and horrific historical events the world has ever seen, the Holocaust. She and her family managed to survive for 2 long years in hiding, by living in a secret annex behind her father’s pectin factory. In August of 1944, the SS captured Anne and the others hiding in the annex. All but Otto Frank, Anne’s father, perished in the Nazi concentration camps. Though they lived through unspeakable and unimaginable challenges, Anne, her family and their friends showed a tremendous amount of courage trying to defy Hitler and his evil regime.
Don’t you hate it when your family and strangers treat you in a harsh way. Anne Frank was treated harshly by some people in the secret annex people would yell at her call her spoiled lazy and was always telling her what to do. But some people treated her nicely like Peter VanDaan and her dad in a way that made her feel loved by some people around her. Anne was a twelve year old girl when she was forced into hiding because she was a Jew in Nazi territory during WW2. Anne is treated by the people in the annex in many ways and that effects her character in such a way that changes her character.
"The Diary of Anne Frank" tells us a story about how her life as a Jew was drastically changing during the Holocaust and the start of World War II (WWII). She was a very intelligent young woman that had hopes and dreams. Anne was a normal teenager trying to find her way in life. All of that changed when the Nuremburg Race Laws were formed. Her father who was a World War I fighter hid his family and friends in a Secret Annex that was blended in with a normal neighborhood. As she lived for months in the Secret Annex, Frank had written her diary, full of her experiences in the Annex. Everything changed though, when she reached the end of her times in the Annex. Hitler's men had found Anne and her family and friends. This memoir adds in to the
In conclusion, Adolf Hitler and the Nazis brought a lot of damage to the Jewish and others. People were forced to hide in order to keep their lives. While they were hiding they could not do a single thing that would put them at risk of being found. “The Diary of Anne Frank” puts all of this into perspective. Anne kept a diary with her while experiencing the struggles of this war. Her diary helped people to feel what she was feeling during that time.
A group of Jewish people flocked to Amsterdam to hide from Nazi Police. The group was two families, The Frank's and the Van Daan's, among the Frank family was a young gril named Anne Frank. Anne would keep a diary of her daily life in hiding for about a year and a half. The views she shares are like none other the world has ever seen. Anne paints a picture worth over a billion words.
The Diary of Anne Frank is a remarkably moving book about the short life of a young girl and her family. The Holocaust was a horrible time for Jewish people and Anne and her Jewish family’s lives were completely turned upside down as a result. The war resulted in the deaths of countless people, mostly innocent people. Before the invasion on D-day and the end of the war not too long after, the rest of the world didn’t know the real disaster going on over seas. Anne Frank’s once secret diary has introduced the immense suffering and horror that occurred during the Holocaust.
Learning about the holocaust can help us put laws in place to prevent another holocaust. As we learn about the holocaust we can learn the horrible things that happened and we can improve those horrible things. Learning about the life of Anne Frank is a special story to learn. Anne kept a diary and all the stuff leading up to her capture.
For others might think that the book is good because it shows how she didn't have anything what we had. For my opinion for that was it was 1942 when they didn't have much but it's 2017 we obviously have more than them to start with this story was really old. As others say why they want you to teach it was because they thought she going through the same as we were but not really. As Anne Frank talks about her personal body feelings, I'm pretty sure every girl goes through that and it's normal. Also another reason why they want u to teach is because they want them to get bored out of it so it's better if you teach it but just mention Anne Frank. As others also pick why you should teach us because they thought it was easy to get a grade trust me it's not really the Diary of Anne Frank wasn't interesting.
Anne Frank's life has impacted the lives of others because, her family background, Anne's time in hiding, and what she expressed in her diary. Without Anne we would never know what life was like in the holocaust, from a personal standpoint. It came from the pages of a diary belonging to a young Jewish girl, Anne Frank. The Diary of Anne Frank has been read by millions of people around the world since the end of World War II. The book, “ The Diary of a Young Girl” is based on the life of a young teenage girl, Anne Frank who had lived in Germany during World War II.
During the devastating time of World War II, a Jewish teenage girl wrote a diary about the gruesome events she witnessed, this diary was named, Diary of a Young Girl, Anne Frank. Anne Frank lived in Holland and went into hiding when her sister, Margot, got a letter to go to a reception camp. The Franks faced terrifying moments during hiding. They witnessed war outside their window and stayed in the same house without even going outside for about two years. To add on, the Franks had to keep in mind how every day they could be arrested or even die. Sadly Anne and her family are arrested and are sent to Auschwitz, a concentration camp where she would later die. While in hiding, the Franks and the Van Daans, who were also in hiding with them,
