Why Shouldn T Teenage Drivers Be Able To Drive?

For many teenagers in the United States their 16th birthday is an important milestone. This is the age that teenagers begin to integrate more into society as they begin to drive and experience new levels of freedom. As 16 is the usual minimum age for employment in most industries some teens even get jobs for personal reason or to benefit their household. The minimum age to acquire a driver's licence should not increase to 18 as younger teens will not be able to help provide for their families with current public transportation methods in the United States.

Putting teens on the road at a young age as low as 15-16-years-old allows them to gain experience that will help them become more accustomed to the road when they get their driving licences at 18. This proves that teens who do not drive at 16 are more likely to get into car crashes, because they wait til 18 to avoid being restricted like the 16- 17- year-olds. In my experience driving and riding with other people my age, teen drivers are much more reckless than other drivers. Do you really wanna be locked up at your house until you're 18 just because you can't drive yet. The driving age should not be raised it should stay at 16, teens that are sixteen years old should be able to start driving. The first time behind the wheel, with no parents, just you and the car. A majority of adults with offspring in high school work in order to survive. Many moms and dads who struggle to provide for their children possess enough responsibilities. Having to drive their kids to school should not become a necessity. Students not driving themselves to school would mean that the burden would fall upon the already encumbered parents. Clearly, adults must provide care for their children. Therefore, having a teenager who can drive to school every morning removes one of the many responsibilities that these working adults already face.
