One big reason I think snow days are better than sunny days is you can have fun inside. For example, if you have been aspiring to see a movie but never got around to it you can finally watch it. You can also play board games and compete with you family. For example a very common way to get a little bit of extra cash on a snowy day is shoveling driveways. You can also make a few bills by shoveling pathways and walkways in your community. Moreover, you can earn a few bills by clearing your parents windows and windshields so you can earn some cash and they can drive to work safely which is a win win situation. Making money is just another compelling reason why snow days are better than sunny days.
On the other hand I can see why some people enjoy sunny days better than snow days. For example kids will have to do makeup work from the day they were off because of the snowstorm and nobody enjoys doing extra work. So I can see why some people can prefer sunny days, to snowy days.
Consequently, snow days and sunny days both have good and bad qualities nevertheless, in my opinion snow days are more enjoyable. I mean, who doesn't like playing in the snow and having a day off from school? It doesn't get better than that. If that didn't convince you I don't know what will.

The season of winter in Canada isn’t all bad though, it is very pretty at times. Waking up and looking out the window to a fresh blanket of snow is one of the greatest sights for a
To start, in the book Northrop uses the snow to symbolize the feeling of being stuck and not knowing what to do next when something bad happens. This is shown in the book when it says, "I guess the feeling of not being alone was important to everyone"(Northrop 42). This shows that the snow made them feel unsafe and they didn't know what to do about it. Since Northrop included this detail and makes the characters more relatable because almost everyone has felt this way. Also, throughout the entire book Scotty and his friends mentioned being scared and worried about what might happen to them. The snow symbolising the feeling of being trapped, and not know where to go, makes the characters more relatable because most people have felt this
at the workplace, most of the people are not focus don’t really want to work because they would be thinking of how it would be good to sit outside with a bottle of fresh water. of heat on our brains are g=negative is because our cognitive abilities seem to improve up to a certain temperature and then as the temperature continues to rise quickly diminish. One of the effect in one of the internet article of “are we lazy in the summer? “By Maria Kournikova. the author has stated that “one of the key issues is motivation, when the weather is unpleasant no one wants to go outside, but when the sun I shinning, the air is arm is the sky is blue, so people tend to dream about what they wish they were doing in the summer, rather than concentrating on their work. During the summertime at school, students tend to have low grade more than in winter.
* Snow can be clean, inviting, playful, and even warm. It can also be start, suffocating, severe, suffocating, and even filthy.
Do you guys like snow well its not very fun in the morning when u have to scrape snow off your windows in the freezing cold .Most winters down here get below freezing and its not fun to go and play outside because youll end
Dave Phillips - He says that we we created like a circle for ourselves during the winter and try to hide from the snow instead of embracing it like most countries and we do that by hiding indoors and hibernating. Hes canadasa weather man and he said that 2009 was Canada's warmest winter and he was surprised by all the canadians that were full of joy because they all did not want a cold snowy winter. There were interviews on people on what they think of this year's winter and they were all happy, most of them were not even wearing winter jacket. Dave Phillips suspecting everyone to be disappointed but
There is a great difference between driving in the winter as opposed to driving in the summer. Although the two driving conditions have their own advantages and disadvantages, I would argue that driving in the summer time is better.
Damascus, Maryland usually gets 2 days of snow if not less per year. Which is why it’s essential for every kid living in Montgomery County to make the best of their snow day when it actually comes. Snow days are very enjoyable for every kid, but it is sometimes difficult to find what you’re going to do.
The places you will be riding can have a big impact on how the ride will go. A day snowboarding in the Midwest can be really hit or miss depending on location. In the Midwest, there is not very much snow that falls naturally. This forces resorts to make their own man-made snow. This snow tends to be a bit harder and more like small ice balls rather than really powdery snow. Being in the midwest there is also frequent climate changes. This can make the temperatures change rapidly and can make the snow melt and refreeze, or become very hard just overnight.
A normal day can turn into a day filled with icy cold snow and warm hot chocolate just by one call. One call that gives everyone around the school district a sigh of relief that they can curl up back in their comfy beds and sleep for an extra two or more hours. Some may wonder how one call makes everyone’s day so much better: it is because it is a call from the school saying there is no school today due to icy conditions. Upon hearing this one can be sure that their phone will be buzzing with ones friends asking what they are doing today, or maybe one snoozes through all the texts and continues to curl up in one’s warm blankets, with dogs heating ones feet. No matter what one chooses to do there always seems to be a trend as one gets older. This trend is that in the grades kindergarten through fifth grade, children love snow days to stay outside and play; then in grades sixth through ninth, children love snow days to stay inside and watch movies; finally children tenth through twelfth grade, children love snow days to again go outside and play.
The author begins the chapter "It's More Than Just Rain or Snow" by explaining what mood the quote "It was a dark and stormy night" creates. He explains how weather is never placed in a story for no reason. Weather is a factor used to create a mood in the passage. "A sunny day with no clouds in sight..." will create a happy mood while the reader could be imagining themselves in the story being outside on a beautiful clear day with the sunshine hitting them just right. That could put anyone in a cheerful mood, right? If the author started a story with "The rain was beating down on the roof as I realized it had been my first night without him...". Now obviously if the character had just lost someone they would be sad but adding rain to the scene adds the effect of sadness and allows the reader jump in the book to feel what the character is feeling.
Mark Sisson has written some excellent articles on the importance of sunshine and light exposure. He’s made a great point about how working outside can increase your productivity, happiness, and
In the winter there isn’t much color. The trees are bare, the sky is gray and everything is covered in white snow. Personally, I feel that winter is gloomier than summertime. I feel this way because of the colors surrounding us. The dullness of colors during the winter time seem to make things more bland and less cheerful. The bright colors from spring and summer seem to make most people happier and cheerful. Although, each color could have both a positive and a negative feel to it, it just ranges by the person who views it. People associate different emotions with different colors. Three categories I will be explaining are cool, warm and neutral colors.
I love the hot and humid days that makes you want to dive into a fresh and cold pool. When summer time starts, you can wear lighter clothes, which are much more comfortable. The weather allows people to go outdoors to
It is understandable if there is bad weather outside but if it is a sunny day then that means it is time to go have fun outside and exercise. People don’t realize what is outside because they are trapped in their own virtual world and people need to stop relying on technology
