Education is the reason students attend college, but the reason people enjoy college is not usually the education they receive rather it is the once in a lifetime experience they have.
When I came to Davis, getting the degree was the only thing I cared about. As a transfer student who propelled thorough the 2-year program in 1 year, there are many things I wish I would have done differently to get the true Aggie experience. As I prepare to leave UC Davis I realize it is the best school in the world, but I missed out on a lot of its greatness.
Coming in from the local community college, older but not wiser, I assumed I could do it all on my own. I could, and I did, but if I could do it again I would take advantage of the multitude of opportunities

I have so many reason why I wanted to attend DCCC and each decision that I make at DCCC is that I’m gonna face it till the very end of my courses. I always wonder how can I get a step further in life and how can I get my stuff done and start early and there was an option that was given to me in my 8th grade year and it was a sign up for an orientation for Yadkin Valley Regional Career Academy a school where you can learn how to start you career and be professional looking/acting when applying for a job that suit you better. I came to Yadkin Valley for orientation where you can check the school out, but I had a little problem I didn’t have my glasses so couldn’t really see how the school look because my eyes were blurry, but I notice that I really didn’t need to see just listen to the teachers and how they talk and communicate and how they tell us what we be learning and discover while we are here at Yadkin Valley and what they have in store for us and then I heard a
I would like to attend college because I want to be able to demonstrate not only to myself but to my family that we can do what we set ourselves to do. I would to do go far in this life and accomplish my life goals. Without college, I will not be able to do my goals. My goals are to graduate from college, one day own my own land so that I can own my own agricultural business, and have my home there too, and I want to be a high school Spanish teacher as well. Another reason as to why I want to attend college is that I want to be able to show my little sister that anything is possible, we can do whatever we set ourselves to do, as long we do not give up we will be able to accomplish great things in life. My teachers have also been a great influence
Sunday comes again, and it's finally time to continue the weekly interviews with my grandpa. Before we began the interview, he showed me an in-depth family tree that a relative of ours had put together for our family. Being the tech savvy person that I am, I show him how to navigate around the application of our family tree. Then we began talking about our topic, fear.

Although college is expensive and a risky investment, students should still go to college because there, they learn much more than just a subject or a profession. In college, not only do students learn things like liberal arts education, life skills, and other important skills needed in life, but it also gives students the experience that they need for their careers.
One of the first colleges ever created was established in 1636 by the vote of the great and general court of Massachusetts Bay Colony, and was called Harvard (Harvard University). Many teenagers believe that college can be very difficult so they forget about the benefits that a person receives after attending. Not only teenagers believe this but also many adults that did not have the opportunity to attend college. They believe what other people say about college without never trying it out and what they say about college is that it is difficult, boring and tiring of the work. People should go to college for greater success because it gives a better chance of landing a job, increases a person’s income, and gives people a chance to network.
Many students from Asian countries spent a lot of money to go to school. We think education as a million dollar prize. If I do not go to college,i will get stigmatized from everyone.I want to go to a college because I need degrees to get a good job and increase the quality of my life.I need a money to pay college tuition.
More than ever before, adults are returning to college to complete degrees they started years ago. Additionally, many are choosing to attend college for the very first time. Unsurprisingly, adults have very different reasons for attending than do their younger counterparts and they face challenges unique to those who choose to pursue degrees later in life.
As we know the average individual will attend college for a particular reason, either a family tradition or a lifelong goal, but for most part the reason is for a better life. A majority of people attend a college to obtain a degree or training to become specialist in a certain field or profession, in fact enrollment in college skyrockets when struggling economy. With the shutdown of Internet startups and a slowdown in the economy, a glut of people with experience in high-tech industries is competing for available jobs, leaving fewer opportunities for recent graduates (Perlman). With the current job market being saturated with people who have the same degree competing for the lesser number of jobs, this would only worsen future matters if
I do not want statistics to define me. I remember reading that in 1999, it was found that 82% of students whose parents had a bachelor’s degree immediately enrolled in college. On the other hand, only 54% of students whose parents did not attend college immediately enrolled in college. Neither of my parents went to college, so I fall into the 54%. When I read that statistic, it gravely angered me. I was determined to be more than just a statistic that was left behind and did not attend college because the odds were against me. So, I worked and worked all through my schooling career to become the best possible student I could be regardless of the “potential” difference between my other classmates who come from more “educated” households and
I have always wanted to graduate high school and attend college. From a young age, I remember thinking about what an honor it would be to attend the same college my mother did. I always worked hard and maintained a high grade point average, hoping to join the ranks of high school seniors who moved into the college world. The suddenly I learned about a program that could help me reach my dreams sooner than planned.
One major question that a student attending high school has to consider is whether to go to college or not. With the increasing debt that the average college-bound teenager faces if he or she chooses to go, it becomes harder to decide if college is even worth it. In fact, according to “Congratulations, Class of 2015. You’re the Most Indebted Ever (For Now)” by Jeffrey Sparshott, the average debt for a graduate of the class of 2015 is nearly $35,000 per year, more than twice the average of 2000 (Sparshott 1). This increase highlights the steady trend toward higher debt for future college attendees.
The reasons that I want attend college are I want to have a good job. A college degree means I can have a good life after I start working. I will be doing something that I love and get up every day drive to work and not dread it. I can be proud of myself in knowing that I made it to where I am by working hard.
Madisen Beaty said,”Peer pressure is something everyone will face in school, you have to really go by what you think is the right thing to do”. There is too much pressure on teens to go to college. Going to college leads you to have more opportunities for better jobs such as a FBI, doctor, and lawyer. Teens will be able to have a stable life with a house, money, and a family. However, parents never seem to see the danger of the pressures put on the children. It hurts the child’s mental state making them feel like a failure when they fail an exam. Pressure can hurt a child’s physical state because children exhaust themselves studying for exams. Parents believe that going to college rewards all teens with a successful career
