Helping and sometimes saving animals lives is a more than rewarding experience for me. Vets manly work with animals daily basis. Because of that, the career cluster it falls in is agriculture and natural resources. I love helping anyone, but helping animals is my favorite. This job really interests me because I get to work with what I love consistently. I strictly argue the idea that the best career pick would be a vet, based on work environment, education and training, important qualities, salary and job outlook.

On weekends, vets are normally on call. When your on “call” that means your boss could ask you to come into work. When this happens, you 're normally not scheduled to, come in. I just do it to help an animal that doesn’t have enough of the assistant it would need. I think the idea of being on call is good and capable, because if I picked your job because I love it so much, why wouldn’t I want to come and help more, when it’s needed? On the other hand, the setting for a vet changes a lot. Vets normally have to change locations to assist an injured or wombed animal. Farms, hospitals, offices, ranches, and other places are common places for vet to report for work. For me, I don’t like being in the same place for a long amount of time, so working in different areas is a good idea for me. Overall, the work hours and setting for a vet seem very reasonable and are high in my liking.
Education and Training To be a vet, a lot of education is required in certain areas. If you’re dreaming of being a vet, vets must have your First Professional Degree. A First Professional Degree normally takes around 10-12 years to get and requires a lot of determination and work. 12 years does seem very long to me now, but I think once 12 years are over with, I will have appreciated what I decided to do. Although this statement is completely true, the treatment of dogs is not all that vets do. Cats, cows, parrots, and horses are just a few of the many other animals that veterinarians help. As you could probably guess, the profession of being a vet requires many years of education, being that the job requires you to have a good background knowledge of issues that animals may have. In this essay, I’m going to walk you through my educational path to accomplish my goal of becoming a Veterinarian.
Animals have played a big part in my life, I have always had some sort of animal ever since I was born. Growing up I've had dogs, hamsters and fish and I have loved all of them deeply. This love for animals has showed me that I want to work with animals for the rest of my life. Becoming a Vet Tech is a great job because I get to see animals all day every day and I get to care and love for them.Vet Techs provide care for all animal's, anywhere from dogs, cats, exotic pets, lab animals and zoo animals. They help animals recover from injury, illness and help maintain animal's overall health. Vet Techs are commonly called ''nurses'' for animals, having the same jobs nurses have but just for animals.
One major part of all peoples’ lives is health care, without it society would have no way of staying healthy and happy, and people would also have no way of treatment in case of an emergency. This also applies to all the pets’ lives are shared with. A certain profession is also needed to provide this care service for all of the animals. The people responsible for this service are Veterinarians. There is a lot to learn about the career of a veterinarian, including all of the schooling required, what a vet does, all of the advantages as well as the disadvantages, and the future outlook for this career.

After high school, I must complete two-four years of pre veterinary or science studies. Then, I am able to apply for veterinary school. After I apply and get in, it takes four years to get a DVM degree. Depending on what job I want in the vet world, I could take a 1-2 year internship program if I wanted to specialize in one specific area or I could complete a 3-4 year residency program to become a certified specialist. There are plenty of skills that I will need to have to become a vet.
