First off I am going to talk about the B.C Wildfires. The wildfires aren’t a good matter for B.C. In 2012 they made a deal with the government giving registration services for the people in the fires. The Province of B.C strongly encourages all evacuees to register with the Canadian Red Cross, even if aid is not required. Given the current wildfire situation. Red Cross is bringing in additional resources when and as needed to ensure pub

The focus of this lesson will be teaching the students to examine the history of wildland fires and their impact on society in America and in their community. Students will explore different approaches to living with fire and will examine various fire management techniques including prescribed fire, fire suppression, and fire prevention. They will take a closer look at the Copper King Fire in Montana, and will conduct a research project of wildfire history in another state. Jack’s geology teacher asked him to write an essay discussing Fort McMurray’s Wildfire. He had a week to write this essay, but left it to the last minute. Jack knew Google could help him finish the assignment in no time. He started off the essay with his own ideas, but once it came to needing facts, Jack copied and pasted from the CNN news website. The next morning, Jack handed in his essay. When his teacher looked over his essay, he realized there was different fonts within the text. He googled those sentences and found exactly what source Jack plagiarised from.

Families were devastated when they were forced to leave their homes as wildfires began to take over. The Tennessee wildfires took the lives of 14 people, and destroyed over 2,400 homes and businesses, while creating $500 million in damages.
A traumatic event that happened was when there was a fire. I remember that the fire was just a mile from our house and that we would have to evacuate. My family I loaded the car as fast as we could. We packed as much as we could and everyone else in the neighborhood were also packing and moving out. We moved out, but got stuck in traffic. The fire was literally behind us, burning acres of grass and forests. My sister had asthma, and so she had to fight it off by constantly coughing and such for she didn’t have her inhaler. She coughed all the way until we had gotten to safety and she had gotten an inhaler. I remembered leaving my pet dog, Penn at home, and so I rushed back by myself to let him out. Fire was right near the house, and I tried

A wildfire is any instance of uncontrolled burning in grasslands, brush, or woodlands. Wildfires destroy property and valuable natural resources, and may threaten the lives of people and animals. Wildfires can occur at any time of the year, but usually occur during hot, dry weather. Wildfires are usually signaled by dense smoke which may fill the air for miles around. The National Weather Service, U.S. Forest Service, and State forestry agencies combine to give wildfire probability forecasts. Local radio and television stations broadcast information and warnings on local fire conditions. Wildfires pose an increasing threat to the residential United States. In 1987, 53,000 fires consumed more than two million acres. By October 1988, almost
