INTRODUCTION: FINDING THE MASTER KEY TO LIFE
For whoso findeth me [Wisdom] findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.
—PROVERBS 8:35
Wisdom Is The Master Key To Life.
When you “find”—or get—Wisdom, you acquire basic secrets to a better life.
A better life should most definitely be your genuine goal.
You should always bear in mind that your life always has room for improvement.
God—alone—is perfect. He cannot be improved upon.
You, however, can pursue personal improvement and seek with great enthusiasm and great joy to change your life for the better.
You only have one life; therefore, you should continually seek to improve it and make your human experience here in this world the best you can possibly make it…and you gloriously achieve that with Wisdom.
Wisdom, in spite of that, has

The Path Of Humility. The path of humility is the way of walking in humility. Humility is defined as “the quality or condition of being humble.” You should be a humble person. As a humble person, you are marked by meekness or modesty in your behavior, your attitude, or your spirit. Being humble means not being arrogant or prideful. God resists proud people, but He gives grace to humble people. “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble,” (James 4:6). Also, good people (those that are morally good) reject proud persons but receive humble persons. Humble persons they receive they give favor to. Humility makes you attractive—a magnet for the favor of others. That’s why humility is a good path to follow in
It simply means that how to be “a good man” in the society. According to the article, one of the characteristic is that humble people usually have a high level of self-esteem. They have confidence in themselves, and they feel positive of what they are. Moreover, the article also states that we decide humility not by humble behavior but by how people treat each other. “Good behavior flows naturally from that kind of humility”, this phrase from article efficiently describes good humble people. We usually learn from people who have more experience than us, such as parents, teacher, or bosses. One the other hand, when you start to work, you begin to have an ego knowing that you know more than other people, which is incorrect. Humble people will always learn from others even though they are smarter than others. This provides them opportunity to learn unlimited. From my perspective, this lesson gives us to be active and humble person to society, which benefit us so much in our career and social
When I look up a word in the dictionary, many times, I find that there is more than one meaning to it. The definition depends on the way the word is being used, however, when a person defines a value, the definition might change according to lived experiences. If I were to ask people what “humility” means to them, some might match my definition and others might have different perspectives. I have personally met people that see humility as a downgrade. In contrast, humility to me means growth, equality, and a virtue that it is acquired through wisdom and not one that you are born with.
578). de Vries suggests that humility is “mysterious and eludes literal interpretation” therefore it is “not possible to identify, or grasp, in its entirety the phenomenon of humility” (p. 578). Equally, Castledine (2011) states, “The trouble with humility is that it is a very humble virtue to have and one that cannot be easily rated in the same way as other values in life” (p. 527). Likewise, Srokosz (2013) suggests, “humility is difficult to define and a clear scientific understanding of humility does not exist yet” (p. 103). Similarly, Crigger and Godfrey (2010) review of literature offer two reasons for the lack of “scholarly interests in humility”: (a) original meaning of the term humble, “narrow sense of having a low estimation of one’s self and being of little value, the notion of humility conflicts with modern conceptions of the self” and (b) its religious affiliation “may also dampen the benefit of acquiring or nursing humility, particularly in the US culture…” (p. 311-312).
Live in your unique abilities to learn, love, grow and share God's grace and mercy with others to complete your God given assignments. Do not give up on doing all the good you are to accomplish in your work and charity. Your life's story should paint that picture of your face, not my face.
Although Dickson wants this book to be a practical view on the subject of humility, this book should be viewed as a self help book. This book is very practical and it uses some personal illustrations
In my life I have experienced so much of the losses and sacrifices I endured through, but with all the hardships, I still live day to day retaining knowledge and seeing the world's secrets and beauty. In the 18 years I have been on this planet, I learned to
In the novel life lessons:two experts on death and dying teach us the mysteries of life and living. The novel talks about many lessons such as
What is the meaning of life? Well known Greek philosphers such as Socrates and Plato believed that our purpose in this life was to gain knowledge in preparation for the next life. Other Philosophers such as Epicurus believed that pleasure is the main goal in life. After giving these ideas lots of thought, I have come to my own conclusion that the true meaning of life is far more complex than either of these; far too complex for any human to fully comprehend. In fact these two different philosophies are only part of the grand picture. If it were that easy for men to figure out our lives wouldn't be so messed up now. The meaning of life revolves around many different things. I
Consequently, each person at some point in life asks some question about life. Some ask if they actually want to live the kind of life they are experiencing, while some will ask other questions like “who am I” or “The importance of their
Life is a complicated twist of suffering, laughing, and learning all merging to tell a great story - or great many stories. Based on this view, "it is not the end goal or outcome of life that gives life meaning but rather the quality of the story, the quality with which one lives out and develops his or her role."
I can remember as a child always asking myself the “why” questions of life. What is the purpose of life? Why are we here? What is the purpose of life? Why do certain things happen? And is there really a God? I had always kept these questions to myself and eventually pushed them out of my mind altogether. I was raised in a Christian household and you just were not allowed to ask questions of that nature and doubt the faith. The world is the way it is because God made it that way and that is all there is to it. I was really excited to take this class because it would finally give me the opportunity to exercise my personal thoughts and beliefs. I have come to agree with Socrates that “the unexamined life is not
The life given by god has a very special meaning a value in which people sometimes forget to thank or either regret. Many students/adults believe that they are going to be popular if they have money and a good job buy forget that people are influenced by those who have learned something. Also a lot fail to remember, to earn value you must earn it.In today’s economy the government creates a value on the person by looking at the position they are held for. If you look at it from the society’s point of view they believe people should be given value according to what they do and what position they are. From an individual's perspective they judge themselves on what they accomplish and achieve. The value of the individual would
Just a couple week or before, I was hovering around the streets of Kathmandu and was gyrating around a top of my house with a heavy brain box. Every of those 24 hours of my days used to be spent on finding the meaning of life, death and the reason I am here on this planet. After those rigorous searches inside the book ‘Nirwad, ‘The Alchemist’, and inside my own heart, I finally got the answer.
I can remember as a child always asking myself the "why" questions of life. Why are we here? What is the purpose of life? Why do certain things happen? And is there really a God? I had always kept these questions to myself and eventually pushed them out of my mind altogether. Life as we know it could vanish within seconds. The next day is not promised to anyone that walks on this earth. As we live our everyday lives peacefully, we tend not to think what our mission or purpose in life is. Instead, we think what we must do for that to be a “successful” person. Despite this way of thinking, just think for a second. What makes life meaningful? What is life anyway? These questions dive right into the heart of the philosophical, psychological, and the biological aspects of life and what the true meaning of life is. This is a very arguable topic due to every person’s different perspective on life and what it means to them. In summary, I personally think that life is simply what you make of it and each person’s accomplishments has its own merit
