World Hunger can be taken up by the media or the Internet. Social Constructionism is how everyone, or the society, sees a problem. Also, this theory studies knowledge and things around the world are not real in themselves. They only exist because of the reality the media gives them. Money is a great example of Social Constructionism because money is either a piece of paper or metal, but it’s the value of how the media has given them that makes it Social Constructionism. (Brown, 2013). The main concept of the theory is it does not go on a natural level. It only explains through the thoughts of humans, and looks at the meaning of reality. Also, UNICEF believe that malnutrition is not the definition of hungry. For instance, a child can have enough to eat to satisfy hunger issues but can be malnourished still. Malnutrition results from low food intake and infection, to which leads to low in vitamins and minerals in children and adults. The WHO, UNICEF, and FAO are organizations relating to World Hunger, in which have different respective on malnourished and nutrition. Since the three organizations have different point of views, what are the people, who see the data supposed to believe? Do they believe that malnutrition is the cause of World Hunger? Do they believe that food insecurity causes World Hunger? In contrast, since the 1970's government officials have created organizations to respond to global food crisis. For example, the World Food Program (WFP), in which United Nations move food in response to food crisis emergencies. Famine relief has taken control in Africa by government officials and the World Food Program, but the biggest problem is the inadequacy of African transportation to the food aid for reliable food ability. It has created different organizations to figure out the cause of hunger in the world. Also, hunger has killed millions of people over the last hundreds of years. Scientists and analysts are still trying to figure out how to end it. World Hunger is related around poverty, it affects the ability to provide food, and proving food production. So, the stem that causes poverty, famine, and malnutrition still remains. The three lenses have different associations to World Hunger. The three lenses: are Functionalism, Conflict Theory, and Social Constructionism. Functionalism is the stability of a society. Conflict Theory is different things. The theory is power, competition, and lack of resources. Relating to World Hunger, Conflict Theorist say that World Hunger involves around lack of disruption, race, inequalities between men and women, and poverty. Social Constructionism is how society sees a problem, like the media. Conflict theory is the theory that wraps around World Hunger the best, because World Hunger is poverty. Hunger is caused by lack of resources, food insecurity, and race. High price of food causes low-income families incapable of paying for food. So, World Hunger is a huge problem in the world that new resources have been implied to relieve hunger through measures, and the causes have been introduced new solutions as
