Isaiah Akwitti recently traveled to ancient Ghana 10 seconds ago and came back five seconds ago and he told me his story, and Professor Colby Brooks told me the science. "Using a special particle accelerator engine, a special computer calculates the exact speed the hydrogen molecule has to be traveling counterclockwise(clockwise if traveling to the future) to insert the carbon molecule in the opposite direction the hydrogen molecule is going",explains Colby Brooks, the mind behind the technology. "The collision should create a wormhole going exactly where and when we want it to lead to. We designed the pod to be small and efficient. It holds one person and has a compartment under the cushions to hold clothes and provisions. The particle accelerator is located in an area under the pod, so the wormhole opens under it and it drops in. The pod itself is layered with lead under a titanium alloy to guard the pilot from dangerous, radioactive particles. The pod’s holographic reflectors scan the pod’s surroundings to make a hard …show more content…
Because the particle accelerator has so much leftover energy, we were able to give it flight capabilities. Two wings fold out of the side and we added thrusters all over it and three main ones in the back. In flight mode, reflective plates let the pilot witness history from a safe distance in the sky. We drug the pilot with marijuana, cocaine, both, or one of the two in a favorite beverage or meal because just looking at the fabric of time is too much for the brain to process the information and will drive the pilot insane. The pod checks vitals to determine if the pilot is fully recovered from the drug. If we were to mess up something in in time the butterfly effect starts to come into play. The traveler may come back to a changed present and create another timeline. This version of
Stephen Hawkings was from Hampshire, England. He was baptized on April 30, 1581 at Upper Clatford, Hampshire. He was the son of John and Elizabeth (nee Williams) Hopkins. He was married twice during his life, to Mary (surname unknown) and Elizabeth Fisher. Between the two of his wives Stephen had ten children. He died in 1644, where he was buried next to his wife.
I am a student at Silver Hills Middle School, I am 13 years old and I am writing this because, you need a wider variety of phones.Say you go into a grocery store and you really want those cosmic brownies, but they're not at that store .That's how people feel if you don't have phones in stores. I have been using your service for about 5 years, and it's good but you need more phones.
This shows that civilization started in Africa. As much as Europeans try and take everything from us Africans and rewrite our history as far as the Christopher Columbus era, it does not matter because artifacts shows that everything was started in Africa. We use ways of knowing to prove that between the bones found in Africa there was civilization in ancient Africa. “Experiential Kin is when you grow up with someone, even though your not blood family that’s your cousin. You don’t have aunts or uncles like in America. You have the nucleus family then the extended family.” This is the reason villages were so important in the uprising of Africa.
With this non-fiction novella, he shows how bones and organs can be traced back to creatures from millions of years ago. He also shares his years of studying and his many expeditions. Shubin traveled to places such as China, the Arctic Circle, Nova Scotia, Greenland,
Can you write in your own words what a 3-D time capsule is and how it is used?
When humans first started to ponder how the first people got here they only had one theory. Then with findings in Cactus hill Virginia that theory along with the scientific community got flipped on its head.
Black holes should probably not be called black holes. In fact, black holes are anything but empty space. Black holes are a great amount of matter packed and squeezed into a very small area. The result of this amount of matter squeezed into a small area results in a gravitational field so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape.
The Out of Africa Theory is a widely renown theory describing the origin of the human race and their early dispersal throughout the world. According to this theory, humans have a monogensis, or a single and common origin; Africa. The concept was first introduced in 1871 by Charles Darwin but was deliberated for years until further studies of mitochondrial DNA and evidence ”based on physical anthropology of archaic specimens” was added.
Few minds of this century have had an impact like that of Stephen Hawking. His discoveries and work have expanded the forefront of knowledge with a likeness to that of Einstein and Newton. Despite the clear adversity Hawking has faced, his achievements have been nothing shore of extraordinary. His work on the understanding of space, time, and the origins of the universe has set the golden standard for theories on the universes beginnings and mysteries, proving a staple teaching of modern education which we may take for granted.
Sinkholes are a common occurence in Florida due to limestone-rich bedrock. Groundwater dissolves calcium carbonate, weakening the ground and washing out structures built on top of it. Just recently in Pine Ridge, Florida, a sinkhole opened up and swallowed a truck. Apparently the sinkhole was created due to drilling a well at the a resident's home. Fortuately, no one was hurt and the area was evalucated in a timely manner. Also, there was no damage to the home.
Meanwhile, Russ, Ron, Amy, and I was walking in the towering jungle that was our backyard. Suddenly the ground was shaking harder than a jet engine. They are massive winds similar tornadoes. The lawn mower came out. The suction of the lawn mower is related to a tornado’s wind’s. All of us ran, I tried to find a way to escape, but the tornado winds were too strong for us. The ground was shaking and the winds picked us up.
Some of the world’s other great civilisations, such as Kush, Axum, Ghana, Mali, and Great Zimbabwe, also flourished in Africa and some major scientific advances were known in Africa long before they were known in Europe. Towards the middle of the 12th century, the north African scientist, Al Idrisi, wrote,
In the cool waters of the Devil’s Waterhole, I flail around trying to regain my bearings. After my explosive entry, the tiny air bubbles tickle my skin as they frantically rush their way to the surface. Finally beginning my ascent, I kick my legs with speed and force so that I could reach the surface before I run out of air. Like each kick brings me closer to the surface, each lesson I learned from my classes at UT, volunteering, and personal experience, enables me to reach my dreams. HCMP will give me the extra strength I need to make it to the surface. The opportunity to shadow doctors and ask pressing questions, is irreplaceable. This information will provide me a better sense of what fields are out there and a deeper understanding of what
Human evolution is the gradual process in which people, or Homo sapiens, originated from apelike ancestors. Scientific evidence, particularly in the form of fossils and secondary remains, show that the physical and behavioral traits shared by all people evolved over a period of approximately six million years. Humans are primates. Both genetic and physical similarities show that humans and the great apes (large apes) of Africa, chimpanzees (including bonobos, or so-called “pygmy chimpanzees”) and gorillas share a common ancestor that lived between 8 and 6 million years ago. The volume of fossils found in Africa suggests that most evolution occurred there and is likely the place of origin for early humans. This brings to fruition the “out of Africa” theory, also called the “single-origin hypothesis.”
I have always had an interest in science, especially in the sciences regarding outer space. When I was younger I was always fascinated with rockets, and especially in stars. I have often regretted not pursuing this interest at its infancy. I do remember going to the Planetarium, and studying about a topic that I had seen talked about on television. The topic was black holes, and back then all that they knew was that they were black. The idea of a space in the universe that is completely void of light was difficult to imagine. Recently, I have learned more about this topic and a science call cosmology. I had never even heard of this field of science before I was introduced to a scientist by the name of
