Yosemite is known for so many beautiful features, from its granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, giant sequoia groves and biological diversity. At Yosemite National Park I got a chance to truly experience the nature and wildlife around me. The Merced River ran through the valley, and I could hear the sound of the rushing water from far away. I could hear the whistle of the wind and the birds chirping from high up in the trees. The vivid colors of the flowers there were incredible. On top of Pride Rock, there was a splendid view of famous landmarks including the Half Dome. From OMG Point the view of the valley below was absolutely breathtaking. --Some plants and trees had a nice scent to them.-- The Jeffrey Pine tree had a pleasant aroma of vanilla. Yosemite National Park is a national park located in Northern California, attracting countless tourists from countries all across the world for its luscious green landscape, beautiful waterfalls, and variety of different hiking trails. However it is known by many for far more than its physical beauty, and a deep history and significance have created the national park that Americans love today.

The Upper Yosemite Falls hike is fast becoming one of the most popular hikes in Yosemite. Being the tallest waterfall in North America, climb this day hike and you will be rewarded with some amazing vistas of the Yosemite Valley from the top of the falls. The reward is worth the effort! Be forewarned, on 3-day summer weekends, expect lines of people hiking up to Upper Yosemite Falls like a trail of ants.

In our society, we have our ideals set on the values of Yosemite National Park as gateway to explore nature. As Yosemite is a tourist attraction, its breathtaking scenery is one of the marvels that brings people together. As others have seen or heard of Yosemite, only a few can personify and connect with its elements. Yosemite is home to the Ahwahneechee tribe as they live religiously and spiritually.

The Central Valley is occupied by many beautiful places and sceneries that many people do not realize how this came to be. One of the most astonishing places in the Central Valley is Yosemite Valley where the rise of the Sierra Nevada occurred. The preservation of Yosemite Valley is one of the reasons why this astounding scenic view still exists today. The formation of Yosemite Valley took place many years ago and not a lot has changed since this formation in recent years. Many people saw how beautiful Yosemite Valley was and its amazing view is what encouraged people to protect this picturesque place. If people had not preserved and protected Yosemite Valley maybe it would not be how it is today and many people would not have access to see how truly scenic it is. They have given us the opportunity to be able to go and visit Yosemite Valley and learn about the history that is has. Yosemite Valleys’ geological history is truly mind blowing in connection with the people that made it possible for this place to exist.

If you like river trips, hiking, and swimming. Zion National Park is the place for you. Zion has hiking and hiking tours at Zion a main hike in Zion is Angel's Landing. As a river trip you can kayak down the Virgin River. Also while you are at Zion you can swim in the narrows.Those are only a few things you can do there.

The trees were so high they looked like they would go up for miles. When we were hiking, my little sister noticed a few deer. I immediately knew that these deer are called mule deer, and they are Yosemite’s only deer species. It was so intriguing that I am seeing different types of animals that I have never seen before. We finally reached our destination which is the Tunnel View. The Tunnel View is a famous scenic overlook. The hike was long, but was so worth it. I was in awe of the beauty! It looked like something out of a picture book. This is by far the most amazing view I have seen. I am looking forward to see more things this striking. However, the day was not over yet we still had more fun activities to do.We drove back to Yosemite Valley, and had a wonderful picnic. The view is so spectacular, I felt like I could stare at it for hours. We went back to the cabin, and settled in for the night. It was a long day with lots of hiking and we were far too tired to do anything else.

Glancing up toward the light, blue, cloudy sky, the great, tall, and humongous Mt. Rainer towers above everything around its area. The snow peaked top gives this marvelous mountain a sensational feeling when you stare at it with a wide open jaw as the sharp crest gleams in the sunshine. When the snow melts, the water flows swiftly into a set of rivers. All around it thousands of trees stretch around the vicinity for miles. Two cheerful, cute birds fly around in joyous excitement since the flowers slowly bloom open as it’s becoming spring soon. As the soft wind blows gracefully, grass with little droplets of dew wave around delicately. A few feet away a large spider’s web is covered with water droplets and sparkles brightly just like a diamond.

Not even a mile above the valley floor there are three stunning waterfalls. At this time there were many awe-inspiring natural wonders like Niagara Falls becoming popular American tourist destinations. There were many early settlers that tried to make profit from the wonders of Yosemite Valley, by charging tourists with expensive fees. Thanks to Albert Bierstadt’s popular paintings ,and Carlton Watkin’s photos, Americans who would never see the valley in person could see it in paintings and photos. These people could call for its preservation from crash commercial development.
