Does a Banana Have Seeds?

Answer – Yes, bananas have seeds in them.

Explanation:

The seeds are present in both wild and commercial bananas. Wild bananas have marble-sized seeds that are fertile and can be used to grow new banana plants. Commercial bananas, however, have tiny seeds that are often not easily detectable. These seeds are technically unfertilized ovules and can’t grow into new plants. These almost seedless bananas are a result of selective breeding over generations. All modern bananas (Cavendish) and plantains are descended from hybrids of wild species, including Musa acuminata and Musa balbisiana.
