What Galaxy is Earth in?

Answer – The Earth is located in the Milky Way Galaxy.

Explanation:

A galaxy is a  large group or cluster of stars and other interstellar matter and bodies such as dark matter, gases and dust. They are all held together by gravity. Galaxies differ from each other in terms of shape and size, depending on how they came to be formed.

The Earth is located in the Milky Way galaxy, which is a spiral galaxy. When viewed from the side, it looks like a disc with a bulge in the center, but when viewed from above or below, it appears to have spiral arms extending outward from the center.

The solar system of which Earth is a part is located approximately 25,000 light years away from the center of the Milky Way galaxy.
