L⁰ = 100 cm 

T1 = 20° C 

T2 = 80°C 

∆T = T2-T1 = 60 °C 

∆T = 60 both in Kelvin and in celcius

 Now  expansion coeff ã = 9*10^(-6)  

So the  linear expansion is written as 

L = L⁰ ( 1+ã∆T )
