4. What are the logistics issues?

Step 1
Since you have posted a question with multiple sub-parts, we will solve first three sub-parts for you. To
get remaining sub-part solved please repost the complete question and mention the sub-parts to be
solved.
a) Customers are the one who buys the product and consumer is the one who consumes the product.
The principle of the high school was ordering the food to the canteen owner for the students( the
consumers) who were to attend the Junior-Senior Prom.
So here the principle is the customer.
The expectation of quality was simple and good enough to meet the standard of food safety of the
school.
Step 2
b) 1500 students are expected to attend the Prom. The production forecast is 1500
c) Budget of school is P150 per student and there are 1500 students expected. So the principle expect the
price to be P225,000

The Case: GIGI'S CATERING (A)
"You can make P225,000 in one night," exclaimed Mrs. Manalastas, the Principal of Quezon
City National High School. She was talking to Gigi Santos, the canteen operator of the high
school. They were discussing an opportunity for Gigi to provide the dinner for the upcoming
Junior-Senior Prom (on February 14, 2022). "Our budget is PI50 per student, and there are
1,500 students attending the event, that's an easy P225,000 in gross sales for one night" Mrs.
Manalastas explained. "The students are not too discriminating in their tastes. They aren't
looking for something sophisticated. After all, it's the dancing and the camaraderie that they are
anticipating. Something simple, like fried chicken and rice plus desert should be sufficient, or an
equally exciting alternative would be fine" Mrs. Manalastas explained. Gigi was excited about
the opportunity. "Just make sure the food is at the high school grounds by 4PM of the event
day," Mrs. Manalastas said. "Oh and please try to ensure that food safety standards are met: the
last thing we want is an incident involving food poisoning."
