a) Draw Mohr's circle for this element, clearly showing the locations and values of the stresses
in Figure Q4, the co-ordinates of the centre of the circle, and the radius of the circle.
b) Use the Mohr's circle drawn in (a) to find the principle stresses and maximum shear stress
associated with this stress element, and locate and label them on the circle.
Show the principle stresses on a stress element oriented at the principle stress angle.
c) Use the Mohr's circle drawn in (a) to find the stresses acting on an element rotated by 50
degrees anticlockwise, and show the stresses on a properly oriented stress element.
