a rhombus in a rectangle that is w meter wide a perimeter of 48m. each vertexof the rhombus is a midpoint of a side of the rectangle. express the area of the rhombus as a function of the rectangle width

The perimeter of the rectangle is 2 (l + w ) = 48.

2 (l + w ) = 48

       l + w = 24
