Describe the advantage and disadvantage of claudes process of gas liquefaction

Expert Solution
Step 1

Objective-describe advantages and disadvantages of Claude's process of gas liquefaction.

Step 2

Claude's process is one of the ways to liquefy gases in which the gas undergoes  isentropic expansion twice in two chambers. While expanding, the gas does work as it is led through an expansion turbine.  Final liquefaction takes place by isenthalpic expansion in a thermal expansion valve.
