Both insulin and glucagon are secreted by pancreas and hence they are called as pancreatic endocrine hormones.
Both of them are secreted in response to blood sugar levels but in opposite manner.
Step 2
Insulin is secreted by beta cell of pancreas.
Stimulus for the secretion of insulin is high blood glucose level.
So the amount of insulin secreted is increased when blood glucose rises and when blood glucose level falls,amount of secretion of insulin also decreases.
